Steelers Place S Tuff Harris On Waived/Injured List

The Pittsburgh Steelers have "waived/injured" safety Tuff Harris with a shoulder injury, the team announced on Sunday.

To replace Harris, the Steelers have re-signed safety Da'Mon Cromartie-Smith.

Cromartie-Smith (6-2, 210) is an undrafted free agent out of UTEP who spent the 2010 off-season with the Steelers before he was cut on June 16. A three-year starter for the Miners, Cromartie-Smith totaled 296 tackles, 2.5 quarterback sacks and 4 interceptions, and was a three-time All-Conference USA selection, including first-team honors in 2009.
