Cowboys WR Patrick Crayton Skipping the OTAs

Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Patrick Crayton will not be in attendance when the Cowboys open up their "Organized Team Activity" sessions today, Todd Archer of the Dallas Morning News reports.

Crayton's agent, Fred Lyles, has been granted permission by the Cowboy to seek a trade partner for Crayton, who may show up for future OTA sessions the club has scheduled this off-season.

A part-time starter over the last four seasons, Crayton has 196 receptions for 2,888 yards and 23 touchdowns in his six-year career, and is coming off a season where he established a career high with a 16.8 yards per catch average.

Crayton's age (31) and salaries ($2M in 2010, $2.5M in 2011) may hinder his trade market, but Crayton remains a threat in the return game, averaging 12.1 yards per punt return in 2009, return two 70+ yards for touchdowns last season.
