Cardinals Sign CB Justin Miller

The Arizona Cardinals have announced the signing of free agent cornerback Justin Miller to a one-year deal.

Miller participated in the Cardinals' weekend mini-camp on a tryout basis, Darren Urban of AZCardinals.com adds.

A second-round pick (57th overall) out of Clemson by the New York Jets in 2005, Miller has appeared in 44 games during his first five seasons in the NFL, totaling 98 tackles and 8 pass break-ups. Miller has also averaged 26.1 yards on 152 kick returns in his career, returning 5 for touchdowns.

Miller's ability as a return man earned him Pro Bowl honors in 2006.

Waived by the Jets in November of 2008, Miller was claimed by the Oakland Raiders, where he'd finish the '08 season. Re-signed to a two-year deal last off-season, Miller was released by the Raiders last October and re-joined the Jets.

Miller's second stint with the Jets ended in November, after Miller was late for a team meeting.
