The good , a win , 13 and 3 and first round bye.
The bad , penalties that allowed drives to continue.
The ugly , all the hate on Rodgers during a championship run.

Rodgers deserves every bit of hate coming his way. He was horrible! The average fan could have made throws that he missed on Sunday!. I noticed he got a smile on his face after he over threw a pass to Jones that would have been a touchdown. W T F! Can we see those smiles when someone else screws up? We've payed a lot of money to someone who has been nothing more than average for the last 3 years! I will gladly take all of this back, if Rodgers earns the kings ransom he's been given, and wins another Super Bowl. I doubt he's going to do that.

The Good: Still winning ugly. Second half offense and defense. Defense kept the score in range to enable the comeback. The Packers had 7 second half possessions, scored on 4 of them, should have been 5 (Crosby missed a 51 yd. FG). Rodgers who missed too many throws still made the ones that won the game. TD to Adams, TD to Lazard and the screen to A. Jones on the game winning FG drive.
Scott punting was effective. DPI by Alexander may have saved the game.

The Bad: Run blocking on offense, dropped passes, too many penalties except for the game saving DPI by Alexander and the first half.

The Ugly: Allowing the Lions to drive for an FG with only 20 seconds left in the first half. Rodgers first half passing and Graham's drop on the first play of the game.

Hopefully Bulaga, Williams and Vitale recover over the bye week and are ready to in 2 weeks. Go Pack Go! Thanks, Since '61

The Good: Mason "Clutch" Crosby's right leg as the clock wound down; Aaron Jones the runner and Aaron Jones the receiver; Alan Lazard;
Blake Martinez; Za 'Darius Smith.

The Bad: Drops that kill drives and, the missed tackles on Lion running backs.

The Ugly: The number of over thrown or under thrown passes to receivers.

While the win may be an ugly win it was pretty enough to give the Pack a regular season record of an unimaginable 13 - 3 and, a first round Bye in the playoffs.

Bad.....That it takes a perfectly thrown ball to get a completion. Can someone please give our receivers some Stickum?
Ugly...playing down to the competition.

The GOOD,,,Jones...He rushed for 100 yards, 1000 on the season and that catch and run on the screen pass to get them in FG range was unbelievable.
Mason Crosby... Crosby went 3 of 4, kicked both PAT's and hit the game winner in a Stadium where he HAD to be thinking about last year. Excellent job Mason!
Blake Martinez...For all the bashing Martinez has taken on this site he deserves some praise today. He came up with a HUGE interception and put some good pressure on then QB this afternoon.

The BAD...This feeling I have that I need to take a shower after watching my beloved Packers play LIKE THAT with so much to play for.

The UGLY... Rodgers REFUSING to throw a slant or inside until the 4th quarter (What do you know when he did it was a HUIGE 1st down). After last week with SO MUCH success on slants or routes over the middle of the field you'd think that maybe, just maybe it was something we'd start to see again. NOPE... Just crappy bombs away after bombs away with 15 of them overthrown and ONE underthrown (For an Interception)

I have NO IDEA what will happen in the playoffs and I AM happy the Packers are 13-3 with at least a #2 seed. THIS team is impossible to figure out , BUT my hope is win, lose, or draw in the playoffs that Gute does this offense a favor and drafts at least 2 WR's and signs another in FA. Perhaps Gute can make a deal with #12. He'll go out and get a lot of shinny new weapons for AR and AR STOPS doing commercials...Just for one year....AT LEAST!!

Congratulations to the 2019 NFC North Champion Green Bay Packers!!

Blake Martinez is a good football player. I think the Packers need to invest in ILB position again this draft (or FA) but I don't think that means they shouldn't consider re-signing Martinez. He is a valuable asset and a better ILB than he gets credit for. One thing he's not: a coverage LB- the INT not withstanding.

That’s my number one pet peeve with Rogers is that he never throws the ball in the middle of the field like you said it always starts to happen later in the game when we’re down and then he starts being more aggressive and starts throwing footballs in the middle field he needs to to continue that and have that mentality from the start and not play scared and this offense would be much better.

My number two pet peeve with Rogers is fundamentals. I don’t know why he feels the need to throw fadeaway back foot throws all the time when he has clean pockets. He needs to start stepping into his throws and get the ball out with timing and anticipation because when he does that he’s accurate but for some reason he loves to do that little back foot fade away throw that he never completes and that’s where his accuracy struggles come from. I just think back when he used to play with Jordy and Jennings and And how he would get all the ball out on time and he would step into the throws and rifle passes in the middle and throw with anticipation and throw guys open. Also whatever happened to the back shoulder throw that he used to be so good at you never see that anymore. And he needs to start throwing deep balls where he at least gives our guys a chance to go catch it and possibly get P.I. call.

I think the Packers should maybe start doing some more hurry up and put Rogers in shotgun and let him spread the ball out a little bit and get him in a rhythm early in the game because he seems to play better if we get him in an early rhythm. Just mix it up a little more and also I want to see more screens get the ball Aaron Jones with room to run. I also like to see him try some of those te screens and Actually hand it off on those end arounds once in a while.

The good? Not only did the Pack play like slow shit during the first half, but they managed to come back and win it. Coming off an emotional game on a short week, took em a while to get it in gear. Hey! We have a first round bye, and might still be the number one seed depending on what happens later. The bad? Geronimo Allison. Putting the ball on the ground AGAIN. Someone please mail him a can of Stickum. The overthrows. ARs inaccuracy on long passes has gotten a bit erratic, whether thats related to the injury from two years ago, or the fact that the receivers dont work back to make catches(no way Kumerow should have let that ball be picked( The drops. OY. The ugly? The Lions. No championships for 62 straight seasons. That being said, we are in, with a bye and home field advantage. GOPACKGO!

If he stopped throwing off his back foot which floats the ball I think he would be more successful. Yes it may have worked more in the past but it is poor technique :& should be easy to correct but it is up to Rodgers to do it

Right, he no longer has the arm strength to make up for poor footwork. Unfortunately his footwork is still poor.

Hopefully he can work on it during the bye week and in the offseason. It can't continue anymore.

Last year, Rodgers was asked about his footwork. He pulled a McCarthy and played the "I'm a highly successful QB" card to answer the criticism. He certainly was one. It's becoming more debatable every game whether he still is one.

It's strange. You'd figure a smart guy like that would understand that what you can get away with when you're 32 is not the same as what you can get away with at 36. Maybe he's not that smart.

I'd sure like him to prove that. I don't doubt he's highly intelligent but as it stands, it is very debatable whether he's got enough self-awareness to understand that he must evolve like every other great QB before him. Heck, even Favre was smart enough to understand that he had to evolve as his body transitioned from young man to aging veteran.

Good: Lazard--what would we do without him?
Martinez--one of the most important plays of his career.
First round bye: extra time for MLF and AR to figure out something besides heaving
long low-percentage sideline throws half the time; it's no wonder we
have such a difficult time breaking the 20-point threshold.
Special teams: Overall, seem to be on the road to competency. What a difference from last season!

Bad & Ugly: I'm usually a pretty ardent AR supporter, but his performance obviously left a
ton to be desired in this instance.
Play-calling: Not as good as the Vikings game. Definitely did not like starting off
with two runs that amounted to nothing on the second-to-last
drive.

One More Good: We did actually WIN; the same can't be said for the Seahawks last week
hosting the Cardinals, or the Patriots hosting the Dolphins.

The Good: Aaron Jones. Blake Martinez. Lazard. Packers defense shutting down the 3rd string Detroit QB in the second half...and pulling out a win despite incredibly poor QB play by Rodgers.

The Bad: Packers offense and Lafleur still playing Graham, Geronimo, and MSV....and not more Tonyan, Lazard and Kumerow.

The Ugly: Rodgers starting 2 for 12 passing, getting 3 points by the half vs. a 3-11 team and over throwing deep passes missing open receivers at an alarming rate. He needs to practice the deep throws every day the next two weeks if this team wants to compete for a SB. Also ugly because Detroit had a third string QB out there and still nearly won!!

I don't know that the deep ball is key to winning this post season.

We ride A. Jones and control clock, our defense gets hot and gets the turnover train rolling, and we hit a few PA passes over the top when we need it, and we could be alright.

We definitely need to get everyone involved in the offense, though.

That’s true but very concerning that Rodgers keeps on missing on the deep pass and he Just keeps throwing them. They were very open on some of those passes. It’s like he doesn’t even want to put it where his receivers can at least make a play on the ball.

So yes, Rodgers does not need to throw deep but rather needs to concentrate on throwing shorter passes in a quick manner to move the chains along with the running game. If he can Just complete 65-70% of his passes instead of 45-48% the Packers could actually win a Super Bowl this season...just three games more!

The ugly: Green Bay's quarterback situation - what to do about Rodgers. Having done it all, he clearly has nothing left to prove - and he's playing like it. Going forward the Pack should continue to load the defense, and then TE followed by OT. Build a strong foundation for the next QB, whoever that might be.

EAnother strong performance by the defense

Our fourth weak offensive game in 16. That’s 25%.

The passing game is ugly. Between the dropped passes and off target throws it really made me want to close my eyes.

You know, we played the Lions twice this year, never led in either game, and won both on last play field goals.

The defense played okay against an undrafted rookie qb missing his starting te and eventually 2 starting wr. They still gave up over 170 yards rushing and were easily fooled again on a trick play. If they face the Saints I guarantee the Packers defense will see a few trick plays and may even see the former Packer Taysom Hill having a huge day.

The Good: A bye, who doesn't love cheering for your rivals to lose while you rest? That Lazard TD catch was a thing of beauty. Makin' Mason Crosby sealing the deal.

The Bad: The whole first half on offense.

The Ugly: Jinxing the team in advance. I swear with every post I saw about how we should rest so-and-so player I just knew we were going to be in a dog fight today. I hate chat like we have already won any game before the players hit the field. Respect your opponent.

The Good: Aaron Jones, Blake Martinez, Adrian Amos, z Smith, Preston Smith, Davante Adams and Tyler Ervin, he is a threat out of the backfield if he has a QB that can hit him in stride, also made a nice adjustment on a catch for a first down.

The Bad: Every overthrow by Rodgers on wheel and go routes to Jones and Ervin, the PI on Jaire was bad but he actually saved a TD because he knew he was falling down, a smart play in a way. O-line run blocking

The ugly, end of half run allowing a FG, Jimmy Graham..he is done.......Geronislow Allison, Aaron Rodgers accuracy: an NFL record of missed deep throws he left atleast 3 TDs on the field. I have defended Rodgers in the past but he was simply awful this game. I would love to just see him stay within the scheme of the offense, thrown on time and step into a throw.

Good: They found a way to win - 13-3 in MLF's first season, a #2 seed, and inches from #1. Ugly or not....WOW!

Bad: The passing game, although much better in the second half.
The D gifting the Lions three points before halftime was inexcusable.
Although he and they pulled it out, it wasn't AR's best game.
Can our receivers either toe tap or not run their routes so close to the sideline?
A lot of sloppy penalties.

The Ugly: Jimmy Graham was once a Pro Bowl TE. Right now, he is absolutely putrid: never a good blocker, slow, poor hands, bad instincts and stupid decisions. His stats are mediocre, and if you watch, he's much worse than those stats. Replace Graham with any of the other NFC postseason TEs, and we'd be much better:. Imagine our O with Kittle, Cook (he gave the Pack its only good TE play in about 8 years... about 7 games worth, Ertz or Goedert, (Wilson or whoever Seattle suits up, or Rudolph.
Graham may be the worst starting player in the NFL now.

The Bad: Rodgers 1st half and people on this site questioning Rodgers mechanics and fundamentals --especially when Rodgers has already addressed this as follows: "I’m a two-time All-USA Fundamentals team. I have the big helmets in my office," Rodgers said. "I don’t think I need to respond about fundamentals. I mean, I drill fundamentals"...

The Ugly: Graham, MVS, GMO (pick one)

the bad realizing they had a game showed up late
the ugly, all or nothing offense where are the quick throws of 7-8 yards over the middle that's open? Just about done with watching 35 yards down the field off back foot throws, then camera on AR who is pissed.
The young DB's trying to show off their beer muscles, Jaire great player that is young he will be better but just play the game you are just where Kevin King was last year but way tougher.

Jimmy Graham enjoy new home next year
G Allison you tried sorry
MVS anywhere but GB

The good: Aaron Jones & Za'Darius again
The bad: The first 2/3rd of the game for Aaron Rodgers
The ugly: Rodgers refusing to accept the blame for his bad throws, always trying to add blame on others. This attitude is unacceptable. His overthrowing wide-open Jones on short passes is not the coach's fault or Jones'. Him throwing it behind Tonyan and MVS when they're streaking across wide open is not their faults.
