The ugly has to be the officiating. And some other unprintable words.

The officials seemed to want to balance out bad calls against one team by giving phantom calls to the other team. The Packers had nine penalties for 78 yards; the Cowboys 11 for 124 (ESPN stats). But sometimes the calls were strange. The no fumble near the goal line because of phantom movement by the Cowboys OL; the no call on the heavy contact between King and the WR on his interception; the bizarre roughing call against Gary; and, of course, the unsportsmanlike conduct against Garrett. It seemed the refs were taking it easier on the Cowboys after that.

Yeah I agree, the ugly has to be the all the penaltys. In every single game, every single week, they're becoming too much of the story.

Good: MLF has brought balance to the force.
Bad: The injury bug bites. Hard. Z. Lindsley. Savage. Tonyan. Goodson. And of course King.
Ugly: How can I disagree with Jerry Jones?

The good: 4-1 record, great half of football
The bad: Not finishing off the opponent in the second half, and KO returns
The Ugly: I'm not sure what the officials are calling anymore.

They scored 17 points in each half, trouble is they gave up 24 in the 2nd half. Dallas had some help, but 34 was more than enough........GOPACKGO.

Its not so much the officiating being one-sided as the inconsistent application of the rules. Case in point was in the Chi / Oak game when Mack flattened Carr landing completely on him and driving his shoulder into the ground - no call. A few minutes later, Daniel was tackled as the ball was released on the game sealing interception, but defender called for roughing - no difference in the plays, but called differently.

And I agree with MLF in that who knows what pass interference is anymore.

The Good: Aaron Freaking Jones
The Bad: Still waiting for one of the newer receivers to be in sync with the offense.
The Ugly: Packers can’t make a good defensive play without worry of a 15 yard penalty.

The good: The offense and defense playing well for a 4-1 record.

The bad: Injuries and penalties. Inconsistent play in the second half.

The ugly. The officiating.

The good: The Pack offense rolled up 31 points before the Cowboys got rolling. Sacks on third down that stopped the Cowboy drives, And I saw two good blocks from Graham... Yes!

The Bad: Allowing some long scores to make the game tight. Especially after the Pack was up 28 points. Kevin King needs to learn how to catch passes. The interception he dropped was sad.,

The ugly: Officiating. The challenging calls is just a joke. No consistency. Ticky tacky calls on both sides. It just seems the refs have rules that can't be called consistently and fairly.

Now we know why KK is not a receiver! When I was younger and played backyard football, I don't recall that a good fast guy could defend but not catch. You were a good player or not. But at this level, I guess you could be a good defender and for some reason, never learn to catch a ball well. He wasn't picked for his 'pick' abilities - LOL.

I think the NFL doesn’t have a grip on what’s a foul and what’s not. The refs are just as confused. This problem could actually destroy the game.

The Good: Aaron Jones, Aaron Rodgers, the Smiths, Kevin King, and JK Scott.

The Bad: Allowing easy TDs, Lowry being carried into the end zone by an RB for the 2nd week in a row.

The Ugly: Jason Garrett throwing challenge flags, the officiating and the injuries.

Heal up for the Lions. Go Pack Go! Thanks, Since ‘61

Don’t think this is getting much coverage, but Tra Carson was an absolute beast in Pass Pro. He was initiating contact and blowing guys up, it was fantastic.

Very happy that GB won. Jones is a beast so far in 2019. Not wanting to get too crazy but maybe it’s time to explore some trade possibilities for a WR to complement Adams. IDK about cap space/rules but do understand that it is tight. But the WR corps outside of Adams has trouble seperating at the line and adjusting to zone coverages. Maybe exploring A.J Green or Sanders or even Parker from Miami may be options available. Green may require some cap gymnastics and a rd 2 possibly but c’mon Graham is expendable and our WR’s need another guy who can separate .

Adding a WR wouldn't be a bad idea, but how long would it take them to get in sync with Rodgers and build up some trust? I just don't see a trade having much of an immediate impact on the offense.

I hate to say it, but the only person who could likely step in and be an immediate help is Jordy.

Lots of good! The Smith’s are potent pass rushers. Redmon had a great game. Defense causing turnovers was HUGE! Aaron Jones had a huge game. ARod didn’t throw as many balls away. Love seeing screen passes again! I also was happy to see throws to Tonyan and Marcedes Lewis again. I like having 3 TE’s the defense needs to worry about.

Bad. The 2nd half drives that should have resulted in touchdowns. We saw that against the Eagles and we need to fix it. We need to be able to punch it in. We did that in the first half, but not in the 2nd.

Also bad, was the WR play. I fully expected Geronimo and MVS to step up and be excellent this season, and it just hasn’t happened. I believe both of them have great skills. Why they are not producing is a mystery to me, but we need more from them. I was glad to see Arod try an end zone throw to Shepherd, and if not for DPI, I think he would have caught it. I’d like to see him try some “jump ball” passes to Lazard in those situations too (kind of like the ones in other games he’s thrown to Jimmy Graham).

The ugly? Can’t think of any other than injuries, which always cause concern. 4-1 through a very tough early schedule! We need to take care of business for the next 2 home games and then have 2 very tough games at KC and the Chargers. Go Pack Go!

Special mention on "the ugly" - showboating - it's never a good look to directly taunt an opposing player. By all means celebrate a play, but please show some restraint (and class).

I was surprised he wasn't flagged for taunting.

Is taunting possible during a play? I haven’t seen that before.

I agree, the showboating was a bit much. Jones could have been flagged for unsportsmanlike conduct. Wouldn't be surprised if he gets a little fine.

The Good...the priceless looks on Jerry and his stepchilds faces when they realized that Green Bay has a defense and this isnt the Capers D of old. The shock of Aaron Jones getting 4 TDs in a game. Bringing Tra Carson back.

The Bad... very troublesome red zone play calling and execution.

The Ugly...Officiating has been terrible. I cant tell the difference between these officials and the college refs when they steping in during ref negotiations. Scary times indeed when they can determine games.

The Good: GB is kind of a "really good in spurts" team. The spurts are getting longer, particularly on offense.

The Pretty Good: AR. He moved around in the pocket very well. Initially the pass rush was really collapsing the pocket, but AR was able to move up and also move outside. He was also better at taking what was being given and getting the ball out sooner, though he had some relapses (like on Jenkins' holding call - AR held the ball a long time on that play).

The Bad: Kumerow had 50 snaps and did very little with them. I thought he might step up for GB, but he still might. Shepherd only got 4 or 5 snaps.

The Ugly: has to be the officiating in this game and in general this season. Outside of that, I thought Lowry was going to have a TFL but instead the RB scored a TD.

The Really Ugly: Tra Carson stepping out of bounds and AR snapping the ball with eleven seconds left when I'd been screaming the bulk of the first half for GB to snap that damn ball already.
