Dear Mr Nagler,

Your criticism of MLF is on target. The offensive game plan lacked vision and coherence. No quick-hitting slants in the face of a terrific pass rush, futile throws to Geronimo who either drops the ball or is dragged down by fingertip tackles, and no attempt to use MVS's speed.

And it should not matter that Jimmy Graham is earning massive money - he is too slow and inconsistent. He should be benched and allowed to wither on the vine. (He does deserve credit for the long ball the HORRIBLE OFFICIATING CREW - which you warned us about earlier in the week - ruled an incompletion. The MNF analyst pointed out that Graham should have been awarded a catch on the long pass play in the first half but MLF unfortunately did not challenge the call of an incompleted pass. (Replay showed it was a catch and fumble caused by hitting the ground!)

Rodgers also looked terrible. Several missed throws and poor decisions. Of course, he was under heavy pressure for most of the game but the Packers failed to adjust and the result was a blow-out win for the Niners.

Lastly, it would seem clear that either Rodgers is failing to hit open receivers or the receiving corps (with the exception of Davante Adams) is simply not getting open which supports the argument by many Packers' fans that we needed to upgrade the receiving corps. Geronimo Allison, if cut, would not find any other team willing to sign him. He is simply awful and it is inexplicable why he is still being used so often.

HAven't been any 'quick hitting slants' thrown by Rodgers with any regularity since about 2013 since he started becoming completely phobic of throwing over the middle of the field.

I don't think that's a 2-coach problem. I think that's a QB1 issue.

The good, I got to bed early and yes Zadarius Smith.

The bad, O-line, D-line, secondary, WR drops, Aaron Rodgers and
the whole coaching staff. I should have listened to my dog after the AR fumble, he said "Ruff" as if he knew what was in store tonight.

The ugly, just watching the Packers get thoroughly dominated and not even be remotely competitive was hard to take. People want to talk about WRs that cannot get open, but tonight, there were some open and Rodgers did not see them and passed many up and missed throws. Tonight was more on the O-line and AR. He looks old with bad mechanics and in decline. His bad games are quite bad now. Very mortal. It seems defenses are not scared of this team and not worried as much about Aaron anymore or his arm and Escapability ( lack of). 3.2 yards per pass...isn't great.....it's not even half of great..literally. It may be time to draft a kid, he sits next year. But if this continues, it makes it pretty hard to pay AR the GDP of a small country with this type of production. Those that say "we are a year away" what does Rodgers look like next year??

Good: The defensive front played nearly reasonably well this game. They created pressure and got enough stops to give the offense the chance to do something (which they couldn't). The RB's played reasonable as well (given the circumstances of Bulaga's injury).

Bad: Corey Linsley on the o-line needed to step up and give more help blocking (he seemed to zone block alot without numbering up and engaging someone).

Ugly Kevin King got burned a number of times resulting in either chunk plays or scores. The ILB's and seam continue to be brutalized (I'm waiting to look at the NextGen stats to see how SF attacked the middle - but it seemed a lot)

Not good, not bad, ugly.Another humbling performance? To be this unprepared on a prime time game is troubling. The o-line which looked liked a strength early, looks like a weakness now. Same ol same on the defense................the middle of the field. This looks like a 2 year rebuild now more than ever. AR, the clock is ticking.

The Good... The Game ENDED and the Packers don't have to travel to Cali again.

The Bad...The entire offense, coaching staff, especially ST! WHERE in the hell did the offense when Adams was out for 4 weeks go to?

The Ugly...Having to work in the same SMALL office with three 49ers fans and my Packers leaving me no defense of them...Not after that ass-kicking.

Edit...The Ugly Part II... Has anyone noticed the nice season Randall Cobb is putting together for the measly $5 million he was paid? Hell, if they give Cobby what they gave Allison plus another few million and the Packers would actually have a 2nd WR.

***JUST BAD***... Aaron Jones didn't have a single catch and was targeted only ONE time!...MLF, are you kidding me?

It's hard to find something good from watching last night so I'm looking to the upcoming schedule. 4 of the remaining 5 games are against teams with sub .500 records. 11-5 looks like a worst-case scenario, with 12-4 most likely.

The bad is that long TD to Kittle. Any notion of climbing back into the game, or simply making it look more competitive went out the window with that play. From there, they just rolled over and played dead.

The ugly was the passing offense. Losing Bulaga early did not help but wasn't the biggest factor. There is a talent deficit among the pass catchers that must be addressed this offseason.

Does not matter about the opposition. If the Pack plays like they did last night and the coaches coach like they did last night the Packers will not win another game.

The ugly...the Packers offense led by Aaron Rodgers! 104 yards passing for an NFL game on zero for 13 on third down conversions ain’t going to get it done against a playoff caliber team! He played like a scared college QB rather than an elite NFL QB receiving millions—per game— from the Packers this season!

Pathetic performance by Rodgers..but the excuses will continue about it being the receivers, the coach, the O-line...etc and not Rodgers. It’s obvious he mostly throws sideout passes in the flat and very few downfield to receivers in stride. Still holds the ball too long even knowing that SF has the best pass rush.

You can pay a young QB a lot less than a kings ransom to get better results at QB and have the money to bring in more players to build a ferocious defense instead. Ready to see what Boyle can do throwing vertical and deep downfield passes at a fraction of the costs playing QB (or draft a QB). He could not possibly do any worse than Rodger’s performance versus the 49ers...which was an embarrassment on national TV and just utterly painful to watch!!

I do not understand why this staff tries to force things into existence. You have 3 talented tight-ends who can play better than Jimmy Graham and you keep playing Jimmy every snap. You only use the other TE's for bullshit blocks and they get NO FN CLOCK. Come one man. You have a fullback that can run like a rb AND Catch like a WR. You dont use him. Against a team like the 49ers you have to pull out ALL OF THE STOPS leave nothing on the table. GO PACK GO!

The Good:

The defensive front did at times hurry up or hit Jimmy G.

No major injuries suffered as Bulaga reportedly will miss just 1 - 2 games and likely will be available for the final 3 games of the Season.

The Bad:

8 points?

Believe our Time of Possession was 35+ minutes and San Francisco's was 24+ minutes and just 8 points?

The Ugly:

Pretty much all aspects of the game with a special nod of despair to the WRs, TEs, O- Line, Special Teams and the punting game.

With 2 weeks to prepare, MLF and Co had virtually no viable schemes or plays for: 3rd down conversions; a fast short passing game to counter the rush; any semblance of a deep passing game; O-Line play to slow the rush; O-line play to open crease or lanes for the RBs; invisible Kittle coverage; and more.

The Pack should finish out the year with a decent Won / Lost record and a playoff berth although concerned they don'y have the horsepower and maybe more importantly, the willpower to go far in the playoffs.

Good: Gute has to fill the gaping holes which were exposed last night. No guesswork required. The departure of Martinez and Graham will allow for a free agent to fill the ILB chasm.

Bad: The state of the center to right side of the OL. Linsley’s worm burner snaps does AR and offensive rhythm no favors. It is no coincidence Bulaga’s injuries occur against great players. Turner has not lived up to his contract.

Ugly: ST is just butt ugly and a total embarrassment.

Good - D line
Bad - Matt LaFleur and his preparation for the game. He was out coached heavily...
UGLY - AARON RODGERS NOT using 2 third of the field. His every throw goes on side, no throws to the middle, where all the teams have problems to defend. Someone should teach Aaron Rodgers that it is allowed to play through middle of the field...

The Good: Zadarius.
The bad: 20 yard sideline go routes on 3rd & short.
The ugly: JK Scott 37 yard average. This has not been mentioned, but Scott is no longer flipping field position. He has been weak for several games now.

Scott can't even use the cold as an excuse for lousy kicking after last night.

The Good: expectations grounded to reality
The Bad: No Aaron Rodgers with an "S" on his chest
The Ugly: Despite some good offseason moves there's still work that needs to be done. I can't believe how bad they still look at times. If we had lost respectably I'd still feel good about this team. But this loss was so ugly, worse than the loss to the Chargers, I don't have any hope for a post-season push. Might as well tank and up our draft picks.

Hi Aaron, I know Stephan A. said it first, he we are soft. Our offense got punched in the mouth last night and basically took it. As for Scott, he's not a big time punter or a clutch punter. He could have helped us out last night and he lost the string in his let.

Good: Our defense made some stops to allow the offense some opportunities. A nice end around by Lazard to move the chains.

Bad: ARod hanging onto the ball too long, again. Our TEs and WRs need to get separation because ARod is holding onto the ball too long. Our TEs were relegated to blocking the pass rush, most of the night, it seemed. Our O line appeared as bad as we thought they were. Too many dropped passes and passes caught out of bounds.

Ugly: Two weeks to prepare and this team looks like they spent the better part of those two weeks in a bar in Pulaski drinking beer and eating kielbasa and kraut.

The Good : Jamaal Williams has some smooth, pre-game dance moves and Z Smith's effort all game.
The Bad : Not ready to play and couldn't match the 49ers intensity level.
The Ugly : Being dominated with no push back at all.

"Well...well...well..."

"Spud fell in the well..."

Methinks I seem to remember a time when Ol' #4 had requested that yon' Ted Thompson sign some talent to help win games and "Tightwad Ted" stuck to "build through the draft" mentality like an Asperger's mental patient with OCD...

AND EVERYONE ON HERE ATTACKED #4.....

Well, it looks like the CHICKENS HAVE COME HOME TO ROOST....

Aaron "Prima Donna" Rodgers wanted it HIS way and nobody here said "Boo"...
He wanted a coach that let him do what he wanted...Nobody said he was "selfish..."

He wanted to have more say in the game plan and nobody said "he was acting bigger than the team..."

All that I have to say is....

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHHAHAHAHHAHHA

and

Be careful what you wish for because you just might GET IT!!!!

Clearly, you've never read any of my posts. Rodgers is a problem, been brewing for the last 4 years.
And, I called Favre out as a primadonna, too. For the record, TightWad Ted did fine without Favre.
