The personnel of our defense suggests we are really good, but to date, they appear to have been overrated.
The o-line was better, but pushing around the Bears as opposed to the fast and hard hitting Buccaneers is entirely another matter.
I hope next week we can melt the golden calf (Brady) and watch him throw more tech equipment into the players bench.

The good:
Aaron Rogers - 10 of 25 and 2 TDs, Passer rating goes from 67 to 131... Very nice but A.R. has to credit some of the to Mr Jones, Had a great game with 150 yards total and 2 TDs.
The first down score... Bears 11 and Packers 26... very nice.
Both the defense and offensive line had a huge improvement over last week. And of course the D's goal line stance take away, Sweet.

The Bad:
The Bears opening drive raised a lot of Packer fans blood pressure but we buckled down. The run defense started to be worrisome at times.
Would have liked to seen Doubs have a few more thrown his way, but now I'm getting greedy.

The Ugly:
Not much to bitch about. But I did catch plenty of Refs missed calls. Lots of hands to the face, holding and a couple bears got away with helmet to helmet hits that probably should have been called.

ALL IN ALL, ITS ALWAYS A GREAT FEELING BEATING OUR OLDEST AND BIGGEST RIVAL.

YEP, THE BEARS STILL SUCK....

The good: Obviously Aaron not Rodgers, but Jones, and AJ Dillon. He did exactly what he needed to do. To drain all of the sucker's DL and open space for Aaron Jones. Romeo Doubs long down run on screen.

Bad: Rust on OL with Jenkins and few misread from Nijman. Add Myers to the list with some questionable performance. Red zone offense...

The Ugly. I agree with Aaron - Bears are the first to fall on my mind. Than, turnovers on fumbles and zebras with several questionable decision, not recognizing very often use of hands to the face from Bears DL.

Kind of sad seeing what the bears have become but if anything, if could be a preview of the Pack without Rodgers some day. Fields is not the answer. He is not a leader but a doer and isnt doing.
Good: a victory and seeing the run game worked in one game so far.
Bad: Rodgers is running the team completely and he is calling a run game. Seems the HC has no control anymore. That works if you win.
Ugly: Stokes and pass d still looks shaky. Jairre will not re sign with this team, he wants to play, and neither will Gary who wants da money.

Dude, the Bears had 48 yards passing...48 TOTAL yards passing. Hey I get it, it's Fields and the Bears but at least make a little sense when you're hatin g on the Packers.

The Bears look to me like they know that they have to work out the cap and contracts if the prior GM and hampered by a lack of draft picks too. It looks like they are trying to rebuild Fields while he plays. That’s a low percentage initiative but worth trying as they start their cleansing. I think they are doing a Detroit a couple of years behind. Montgomery has always been good when healthy, but beyond that their O and D are just poor with a few young pieces with promise. I don’t take much from this other than that the Bears will concede a ton on the ground this year.

Love is better than Fields and this roster is significantly better than the Bears' roster. Theyre a playoff team with or without Rodgers.

The Good : Aaron Jones no question great vision
The Bad; Ball protection just had that feeling when AJ was lined up in backfield
Ugly: run defense what is up with the tackling? holy crap stop at two yard four guys carried for 6 more.

Leonard Fournette will be licking his chops next week after watching film. Thought Stokes played a good game great speed Rasual Douglas was right there too. Still not sold on Def Coor looks little lost at times.

"Leonard Fournette will be licking his chops next week after watching film. "

You're right: every team will run that zone/stretch play until the Packers show they can stop it with regularity.

At times, I wondered why the Bears went away from it, and why they even thought about dropping Fields back.

Every carry by Fournette will be a pass that Brady is not throwing.

Both fumbles were mental errors. 1 by Rodgers and another by Myers. Those will get cleaned up.

The Good:

Aaron Jones - Great vision, made it look easy at times.

Vet WRs - Watkins and Cobb both had great moments. Watkins looks like he can be a massive off season steal if we can keep him healthy. Cobb just kept getting key first downs.

Preston Smith - Great game and was setting the edge. Too bad the tackling was often terrible afterwards.

The Bad:

That fumble hand-off to AJ. We are on our way to putting things out of reach. You just can't screw it up and give them hope. Need to play smarter.

The Ugly:

Bears' fans finding a way to blame a 17 point loss on the refs.

"That fumble hand-off to AJ. We are on our way to putting things out of reach. You just can't screw it up and give them hope."

With the exception of 2020 (I think), the Packers have been below average at takeaways for years. They end up high on the +/- rankings because they just don't turn the ball over. I think it's natural to expect that 12's INTs will be up this year throwing to young WRs, but they can't make the kinds of mistakes you point out....and the defense MUST turn opponents over at a higher rate than we've seen, or we'll see a lot of lower-scoring dogfights that can turn on a fluke play or one bad drive.

Good: Special Teams play was solid. No miscues except Amari Rodgers mishandled of ball on sideline punt.

Bad: Inability to wrap up David Montgomery

Ugly: Offensive ball handling miscues. Shudda had at least 3 more points and extend time of possession by 5 minutes.

Walker needs time. He’s hit and miss but a great talent. We knew he’d have growing pains. Lowry is the opposite. He has never been good when run at and he’s no better now. I think his snaps will decrease and the DL usage will evolve against rushing teams.

The problems we are seeing look very much like those of learning to play as units, the early snap and handoff included. LaFleur’s training camps need a lot of work it seems to me.

OK - I am going to point to some less obvious good /b/ugly's - other than firstly I was glad to see Jones earn his big contract. Last year he didnt have a game or multiple games like he did to earn the contract - and that is game 1 - give him an inch and he will take it to the house.

Good but not only good but kind of a relief - Sammy getting wide open downfield. So we have a trusted vet who can get open and we can take our time getting the rooks involved - and maybe - that is the start of things.

Bad - linebackers too soft and poor tackling on running plays. That was the Packer's D issue last year - too many times Montgomery was surrounded and he still burst through or still gained 7 or 8 yards, UNGOOD

Ugly - again - had this game almost salted away but a couple of dumb turnovers - bad handoff and a receiver running into a snap -. If that fumble doesnt occur - probably a touchdown and a 31- 7 lead. And the D seems to play soft after each turnover and lets the other team control the ball forever - rather than getting it right back.

Watkins was open because the Bears sold out to stop the run. I’m not going to take much from that other than LaFleur/Rodgers saw it and knew they had a chance to finish things by doing that while the D was focused on short yardage, as LaFleur said afterwards.

Our D played soft the entire second half and focused on stopping Fields in the ground and the threat of a deep play out of nowhere. It was pretty obvious it was that or nothing if they did throw by that point.

I agree on that but Watkins had 3 catches and didnt drop and all helped our momentum and he looked quick. Yes the D played soft in the second half and the bad opening series and they did a pretty good job against Fields in general ( red zone is tough) . But the tackling seemed to be off and wrapping up was bad on Montgomery - long run on first and 22 ?and Hebert busted a few. Hustling to the ball carriers seemed good but they would break out of the bunch - dont get me wrong Montgomery is a good back - but we need to fix that against Tampa and Fornette. But I just feel much better when the D steps up and stops a team after a turnover. It helps the pysche of the Offense to know that the D has your back - IMO.

The Good: Always good and fun to beat the Bears. Always.

The Bad: Tackling, tackling and tackling. Too many plays that should have gone nowhere gained yards because of poor Packer tackling. Way too many misses and not enough people rallying to the ball. Run defense will be an issue unless this team starts committing to bringing runners down. This defense was not physical enough.

The Ugly: Any reference to the “baby Bears”. Laughable. Sounds like the nonsense that was spewing out of Chicago during the beginning of the Trubisky era (error!). Collinsworth fell into the trap at 7-3 until he realized it was the same old Bears.

The Good: Aaron Jones! What a guy! Game Ball, please! Allen Lazard! He had a nice catch for a TD and his blocking ability was on display last night when he made a key block on Roquan Smith to spring Jones for a big gain. Sammy Watkins making a great catch and run on that 55 yard bomb from Rodgers! Just what we needed! STs did nothing to hurt us. O'Donnell had a 72 yard punt that netted 52 yards because it went into the end zone. Bear Killer Cobb with a few pelts hanging in his trophy room! Aaron Rodgers still owns the Bears!

The Bad: Fumbles. That crap has got to stop! Myers hiking the ball early and him getting called for offsides. Lack of Doubs, Watson and Amari on our offense. Our run defense was gashed in the second half.

The Ugly: Bears fans, in general, who think their team matters. The Bears organization sold it's soul and has to pay $63,000,000, against the cap, to players who are no longer on the team. So much for getting Fields some help, on offense! Thanks Packers, for hiring Russ Ball!

The Good: Aaron Rodgers, 19/25 no ints. Ran the offense brilliantly. Aaron Jones had a monster game. Cobb key receptions. Elton Jenkins, R. Gary, Stokes and Alexander.

The Bad: Run defense and poor tackling.

The Ugly: Mishandled handoff with Dillon and screwed up snap either by Myers or Watson.

The OL improved but needs to tighten up for the Bucs game. Hopefully Bak returns this week. Defense needs to tackle better in the run game. Bucs are a big step up and big challenge after the Bears. Go Pack Go! Thanks, Since '61

The Good: The Packers Win!

The Bad: Chris Collingsworth, He seems to have dropped the "Now there's a guy" but he always has something prepared to say about a player. This week it was "Jump Cut" I didnt know that planting a foot and turning became Jump cut. "oh look, Aaron Jones is jump cutting too". In all fairness, he is still tons better than Buck/Akman.

The Ugly: The Bears.... Always Ugly

I'll skip the Bad and the Ugly --- just read the critiques above, BUT.....
The Good that I saw was Rodgers (finally) spreading the ball around in the passing game. 8 players caught passes. THAT'S how you make up for the loss of Adams. Keep it up.

Good: they finally ran the damn ball showing all the analytics people that this offense is at its best when theyre balanced. This is how this team has to play if theyre serious about winning in January.

Bad: Quay Walker. has speed for days but has no aggression coming downhill on run plays. Needs to attack and trust his talent. Block shedding needs work too.

Ugly: The 2 fumbles. The encouraging part is that both were mental errors and both can be easily fixed. Looked like they hadnt practiced those plays much which is sad cuz both are staples of Lafleur's offense.

Game Ball: Aaron Rodgers. I dont think theres another Packer fan alive who has been as critical of Rodgers as I have been. But I'm also fair and willing to give credit when it is due. I dont know if Lafleur gave him the come-to-Jesus talk or if he fell and hit his head, but he was finally willing to play 2nd fiddle to a dominant rushing attack. Theres no shame or sleight in handing it off 35 times when you dominate. Keep up the good work 12 and you might just win me back as a diehard fan of your's again.

P.S. I know old Vic had to love last night's game. #GOPACKGO #JUSTWINBABY

The good: Jones ripping off big runs; Kudos to the left side of the offensive line for helping spring him. Rodgers gettíng more receivers involved such as Watkins and Cobb. The bad: Run defense and bad tackling. The ugly: Rodgers gettíng sacked 4 times. We can't allow Tampa Bay's front to dominate again.

The good - Aaron Jones, Aaron Rodgers, AJ Dillon, Sammy Watkins. Randall Cobb, Preston Smith,
Rashan Gary. So many others that lead to a TEAM win.

The bad - A couple of fumbles. Poor tackling on run defense. Need to get young players more
involved in the game.

The ugly - Slacking off after gaining the lead and not continuing to play the full 60 minutes.
