Rodgers rips Finley, Jennings: 'At what point do you move on?'

-- Words weren't minced on Monday.

Aaron Rodgers had some choice statements for his former pass-catchers; words that were well-deserved and apparently needed to be spoken in an act of defense against the duo of Jermichael Finley and Greg Jennings.

Finley and Jennings have both gone on record of criticizing Rodgers' leadership abilities, using quantifiers such as "diva" and various other negatively-connotated descriptions.

"My first initial thought is, at what point did J-Mike think I was a bad leader? It couldn't have been when I was up in his room every Saturday night before the games going over plays and talking about checks I was going to make and plays where he was going to be the No. 1 read," Rodgers said on ESPN Milwaukee's "Wilde and Tausch" on Monday.

Finley played in Green Bay for six seasons after being drafted in the third round in 2008, eventually solidifying himself as one of Rodgers' most lethal targets during the high points of his career. Finley suffered a career-ending neck injury in 2013.

"It couldn't have been when I was at the hospital the night he broke his neck and spent a couple of hours with him," Rodgers continued. "It couldn't have been when I followed up and saw how he was doing. So when did this happen where he's like, 'Oh, man, he's not a natural-born leader.'"

Jennings, similar to Finley, has often been hot-and-cold in his public opinion of Rodgers. He was Rodgers' top receiving target during the early stages of his career and had his development streamlined as a result of playing his first two seasons with Brett Favre as his quarterback.

After the Packers chose not to re-sign Jennings in 2012, he played the next two seasons with the Minnesota Vikings of the NFC North.

"I don't even know what to say with Greg," Rodgers said. "It bothers me that every time there's an article, it's the same two people. And if it's not an article about me, do you ever hear their names anywhere else? Do you ever hear their names with people? Are they out here making comments, making the rounds on the shows? I would say probably not. Definitely not in the same capacity.

"At what point do you move on? You talk about me being sensitive and petty? At what point do you move on or stop telling the same stories?"

In the Bleacher Report feature last week, Jennings expressed his discomfort with a joke Rodgers made in a game against the San Francisco 49ers in 2012.

According to Jennings, Rodgers approached Jennings and 49ers cornerback Carlos Rogers and said, "You guys should get him at the end of the year," leaving Jennings, whose contract was expiring after the season, baffled. But while Rodgers never refuted this ever happening, he downplayed the severity of the situation.

"Like, really, a conversation with Carlos Rogers on the field making a joke about his situation, that's what you're going to hold onto? 'Oh, yeah, I knew I wasn't going to be a Packer the next season.'

"It's the same two people. It's the same story. At some point, you have to have something else to talk about."

The Packers returned to the facility on Monday for offseason workouts for the first time under new head coach Matt LaFleur.

Craig Lemmings and JermichaelMichaelMcMichaelsMikeyMike McFinley are also a couple of choochs (whatever that means). I've been waiting multiple years for Rodgers to just flat out slam them for being the two cable television A-Rodge antagonists that the talking heads always go to in order to fan the flames on Rodger's leadership style.

Whose corner would you rather be in? McFInley and Lemmings or Nelson, Adams, Kuhn, James Jones and Tramon, among others?

This is what doesn’t add up in Dunne’s story- - if A-Rod hated MM and GB so much & was so miserable, why would he sign a brand new long term contract last year? Doesn’t hold much water.

The defense and special teams had a hand in the demise last several years. Defense; giving up an average of 24 points a game last season. Special teams; Fumbling the ball or having to start a drive inside your own 20 yard line due to a block in the back or a holding call.

Where is the .500 QB thing coming from?

By my math he's around 55% for win percentage in the last 4 seasons, and that's including the MN injury game and CAR not-ready-to-come-back game in 2017.

The QBs with better winning percentages over the last 4 seasons are Brady, Brees, Rothlisberger, Wilson, and Ryan. Brady's the only one over 70%, and Brees, Wilson, and Ryan are in the 50s or very low 60s. A healthier season in 2017 could have easily jumped Rodgers' % much higher.

With any truth, you have to dig to find it in this world. I'll lend you my shovel...it's worn out from all the digging I do. Would be nice to see someone else actually understand their team outside of the bubble.

I did the math myself. 30 wins, 1 tie in 55 starts. Percentage = 54.54%

An average QB, with an average coach, and an average line, and an average group of receivers, and an average defense, would have won 50% or a record of 27-27-1

So over the last 4 years, we've been 3 games better than average.

Rodgers isn't backing away from anything the dirty duo say he did or said.

He isn't starting a defensive rear guard action.

He is calling out the whiners for what they are. Divas who couldn't accept leadership as delivered by the acknowledged leader of their side of the ball and the team in general.

I am not the biggest Rodgers fan, but his words and stand against the multiple year whining of these two malcontents is to be applauded.

He seems ready to embrace the 2019 GBP and be new again with MLF, Hackett and Getsy.

I won't predict success or rainbows and unicorns, but I will say that I do not anticipate any drama or dysfunction in the 2019 version of the GBP based on any of the off-season rumor mill manufactured drama.

Welcome to the 2019 GBP, Go Pack Go!

I can't believe the words "at what point do you move on" came out of Rodgers' mouth. Why didn't he "move on" from the fact that MM thought Smith was a better QB (like a lot of people did). If the last couple of seasons of QB play are a look into the future , it will be the Packers fans that won't be able to" move on". Hell hath no wrath like Packers fans who have been screwed out of $135 million by a QB who (if he doesn't turn it around) will be booed right out of the stadium next year. We should all hope, that all of this negativity toward him, will put another ''Chip " on his shoulder. and he moves on from his average play over the last few years. While I'm at it, I'd like to say that all of the scrambling he did to extend plays ( at the cost of wearing out his O linemen , and causing fatigue related injuries) so he could throw it out of bounds and set the record for fewest interceptions, caused more harm than good. I'm pretty sure, everyone else on the offense payed as well, while running around for Rodgers. He passed on WIDE OPEN check downs, so that he could run around trying to 'make something happen" and then..... he threw it out of bounds. We're going to find out if Rodgers is a team player this year, with a new system and coach. God help us ( and him) if he isn't.

What I've found interesting is NOT ONCE that I'm aware of has anyone mentioned the contract offer Jennings turned down before the 2012 season. The Packers TRIED to get a deal done by offering $11 million per year prior to the start of the 2012 season. Jennings wanted $12 million a year and was told no thanks. A concussion and abdominal injury later Jennings has a bad year and ends up with about $9 million a year (5 years $45 million) with just $18 million guaranteed with Minnesota. Jennings QUICKLY found out he shouldn't have been suck a greedy F**K.

Then there was the offseason after 2012 where Jennings STARTED this whole drama when his SISTER started making comments about Rodgers...HIS SISTER! I mean are you kidding me? Then there were the comments by Jennings about how much better Minnesota was than GB. Jennings started this CRAP a long, long time again and is STILL telling anyone else who will still listen.

SMH... Rodgers was right.. Are you STILL talking about this Greg...STILL? Who's really the diva? Christ MOVE ON.

Jennings and Finley aren't about to move on as long as they can keep getting paychecks from sports networks and reporters. They're careers are over. Got to make some money some how. They may have had a legit beef with Rodgers. Strong personalities clash. Jealousy also rears its ugly head.

Both Jennings and Finley need to grow the f**k up and let it go. But money can make people say crap regardless of the truth.

More players came out in support of Rodgers then those few who continue to speak negatively, Rodgers had a chance to leave and he didn’t knowing that he was not going to be surrounded by a lot of talent , or receive any help from free agency , now look at the new way of thinking , I think Rodgers is very happy and looking forward to winning , it was just time for MM to go , when Rodgers is up on the podium accepting another Lombardi let’s see what the haters have to say about that. And it’s coming .

I always loved Jennings while he was here. My home town is twenty miles from Kalamazoo, so drafting a player from Western Michigan was pretty cool. When he turned out to be so good, that was the cherry on top of the cake. The Packers signed him to a second contract and when they won theSuper Bowl, Jennings was one of the stars. But, frankly, after that, the wheels started to come off. The Packers drafted Cobb the next year, and Jennings got a year older. He started nursing injuries, and his targets started going down. When his contract expired, Cobb was poised to take over the WR2 role, and he left the team. None of that was Rodger’s fault, but Jennings lashed out at him. Like a lot of players who leave the Packers, he was still good, but his best days were behind him. That wasn’t Rodger’s fault. The QB situation wasn’t good in Minnesota, but he knew that going in. He got paid, but it wasn’t the same.

I don’t hate Greg Jennings. He was a good Packer, and I appreciate what he did for my team, but like Rodgers said, “Move on”. All this bitterness isn’t becoming. It makes me wonder if the team saw signs of this attitude way back when. If so, it may have had a lot to do with their decision not to resign him. But, whatever the case, it’s time to move on. It’s harder and harder to take anything he says seriously every time I hear him rant on about the same old thing.

Here's also what Peter King had to say..why don't "some" people on this forum mention this...
""I think, come to think of it, that Dunne probably just helped Aaron Rodgers prepare to be great again in 2019. Rodgers will understand that many now will view him as a controlling home-wrecker, and he’ll be supremely motivated to show what a team guy, and a winning guy, he is. He’s not going to want to be known as the 800-pound gorilla. He’s going to want to be known as a great leader and winning player. That’s my guess anyway.""

Atta boy Aaron. He did exactly what was needed. Jennings and Finley have always been providing negative comments. The rest of the stuff is Dunne trying to fill holes into a story that he thinks happened. Bad defeats due to suspect coaching. Thompson made bad draft choices and didn't keep the good ones, ie Harward and Hyde. McCarthy's offense was too predictable. He said he was going to scrub the offense last year, but it was still too predictable. Then because of the bad personnel decisions, the talent level was deficient. And McCarthy lost his players last year. So yeah, things happen and people get pissed and people get angry and sound off.

Just about the best things happened. Thompson and McCarthy are gone. Gute nailed free agency. Hopefully a good draft, a better offensive system and development of the defense will bring winning back again. And the nay sayers are gone.

All I know is what I see. As a reader of body language, and sometimes lips, I have thought that Rodgers has been acting like a complete jerk. From hardly ever taking responsibility for a bad throw, to looking to the heavens seemingly wondering why he must play with such idiot receivers, I have grown to dislike him on a personal level a lot. It would be nice to see him up encouraging his team mates or discussing what to do on the next series, but it doesn't look like he thinks they merit his time.
Yes, he can play the position, but I read a man who is arrogant and narcissistic. A Diva and a jerk. Good QB, not sure he's a good leader or person. Just my opinion, but I do understand body language, and this is calling it like I see it. 4K HDTV has not been his friend.

Excellent take BamapackFan!! So so agree with you on this. What Rodgers says to reporters off the field is meaningless but it's his actions and body language that give him away especially when he's on the field. Aaron Rodgers' own brother and mother have issues with him. Think about that especially his mother. It doesn't get any worse than that. I bet his dog probably has felt his wrath if he could talk. Probably can't even bark at this point. Rodgers covers his tracks pretty much every where. He's now trying to do so with the Dunne bombshell. As Kirk says, anymore hits like Dunnes and his endorsements will start to tank.

What his minions don't contemplate is Aaron Rodgers is a brand. He has to protect his brand. He's a few years away from not having football. Heck, a serious injury this year and football might be over for him in 2019. He will need to fall back on his brand. His brand won't sell if the whole world thinks he's a first class prick. That is the perception of many which he's aware of but the Dunne piece served to push even some of his more staunch supporters to a place they've been wrestling with.

Aaron is a bright guy. He gets it. Knows exactly what he's doing with every word he says. That's why it's GARBAGE he said he didn't mean to "come across" as disrespectful with his comments after Buffalo game. No. He wanted to be disrespectful so he was. Now, to try and curry favor and stem the tide against him he goes back to that and uses that as an "admission" of at least "something" he did wrong. Ironic he brings up something we all saw and heard so he can't hide from it. Everyone knew what he was doing when he said that. First, he's lying about why he said it ...and second...it serves to have his minions talk about how he's taking responsibility when he's eschewed it on countless occasions but if he tells Wilde this he must be accountable because look what he did there when he didn't have to. That remark about his comment after the Bills game is NEVER uttered short of the Dunne piece. Why didn't he say this at any point during the season after he said it? Had plenty of months to do it. He didn't because he wanted MM fired because he doesn't respect him and thinks he's an idiot which I don't fault him for. Just admit instead of passive aggressively jerking the strings of his followers that buy every word he says. He's a fraud and his followers ain't very bright.

Thank You. Yes, My Father was born and raised in Milwaukee. This season would have been his 61st year as a season ticket holder had he not passed last April. We traveled from Alabama to see the Pack play twice a year since I was a teenager. He made sure to transfer the Gold Package tickets to me and I continue to travel to see the Pack at Lambeau. He met my Mom while traveling for work and moved to Alabama and married her. I was born and raised here in Alabama. I have been fortunate to be a fan of the Packers (Most World Titles), and the Crimson Tide (Most National Titles) all of my life. I've led a charmed life as a fan of football. I follow the Packers as closely as any Wisconsin native, and Love the history of the franchise. Best to you sir. I am very excited about the FA additions and the prospects for the upcoming draft. Is Rodgers the perfect person? No. And probably nobody else is either. Is he a bad guy? No.

Is Rodgers a heckuva QB (generational type) that all Packer fans should enjoy to the fullest extent possible while he's here? Absolutely. Nuff said.

Can't wait for the draft - 15 days and counting.

Experts now say Hock is likely top offensive pick after QB1. If true, not likely to make it to 12. Even Oliver and Sweat could be goners at 12. Devin Smith? Gone. That's six defensive guys right there. Throw in Hock, an OT, and 2 or 3 QBs and who will be left at 12 that is worth the pick?

If things do down like this, look for Gutey to trade back if he can. 12 is too high for Fant. Jawaan Taylor is only OT I might take at 12 (depending on trade offers). There are no other standout "can't miss" type defensive guys available. One more loss in 2018 and we would have been picking 8th. That would be the catbird's seat, IMHO.

R2 is the sweet spot of most drafts i.e., ROI. (ROI = return on investment). Depending on how the board falls, our pick 12 for a teams R1 pick this year, and R2 picks in 2019 and 2000. Turn one pick into three. That said, if Hock or Oliver is on teh board at 12, I'm exercising my pick if I'm in Gutey's shoes.

We shall see.

Surprised this didn't get any play anywhere. Listen to Rodgers answer about whether Mark told him "don't be the problem"...

twitter dot com WildeAndTausch/status/1115378047006511105

Why would Rodgers go off an say it's absurd and false and it never happened and then say that he asked Mark if he was talking about their conversation?

1) Rodgers suspected Mark may have leaked their conversation just by asking him if he did.

2) If Rodgers knew this was made up and a fabrication why is he asking Mark if he said it?

There's not just smoke here there's flames.

Aaron Rodgers flat out said he picked up the phone and asked Mark if he was talking about their private conversation. He did this after reading the Dunne article. This is a fact out of Aaron's own mouth.

Why does Aaron need to ask this if he doesn't suspect Mark was talking? He made the call and asked the question for a reason.

Mark isn't going to tell him the truth. He'd lie to him like he lied to LaFleur. Remember, he bragged about lying to Matt in Matt's intro presser.

Aaron thought Mark was the leak and it naturally follows based on listening to his answer that he thought Mark told Dunne : Don't be the problem. ---Of course Mark disputed that. I don't know what he said for sure but Aaron thought he was talking.

Oh, and for those who thought this story was dead...it's FULLY ALIVE. It's everywhere today. It ain't going away.

Aaron was paranoid Murphy was the leak or had told someone else just like I speculated on above.

J Kirk,

The link doesn't work. Real hard to listen to it that way. (maybe you can tell the new kid how to connect through your link) But I found the interview anyway. Listened with great interest. Heard every word if it. I even transcribed it.

You say ..... "You listen to it. Aaron picked up the phone and called Murphy after reading the piece to ask him if he'd been talking about their private conversation."

You disingenuously, do not mention ARod was laughing as if to ask is this another lie, joke, or rumor. ARod was laughing! Laughing!!! Now that is real serious content for your misplaced assumptions. Right out of ARod's mouth. Laughing.

You also say ....."Aaron was paranoid Murphy was the leak...."

Do you really believe this crap you are posting? Did you really listen to ARod? Maybe you have to listen through a listening device.

ARod was not paranoid sounding at all when he talks about the call. He had just refuted (100%) the false, fake "don't be a problem" MM quote as nonsense. Then he laughingly says he called and asked MM, laughingly, jokingly, did he talk about their call.

To explain, so honest people want to understand, ARod had just dismissed the first quote as 100% false, and now, jokingly asks if this other quote is just as false as the first. And MM tells him it's ridiculous.

J Kirk, you lose credibility. Try honesty, not sensationalism.

And I am laughing too.

I did listen. Something you'd do well to try. Some might find your tone condescending John.

So you believe 100% one thing Aaron says, because he said it it's fact. But also 100% don't believe another thing he says. Because somebody else said the opposite, it must not be fact.

Smart logic that.

J Kirk,

Maybe you should listen to that interview again.

ARod asked the question in a laughing manner, right after he explains the "don't be a problem" reported MM quote was "100% patently false."

In other words, what is the next joke, lie or fantasy? He was laughing!

Listen and learn, don't just cherry pick words out of context, like that goofy reporter.

Excellent observation Mr. Kirk. I guess I was so busy dealing with name change and obtuse people like IceHowl and White Tornado wanting to cause a ruckus that I didn't catch that.

Yes, there is flames every where on that comment. Clearly Rodgers and Murphy are now both in on it. It happened, it was definitely said to Rodgers. I hope all the people that went after Dunne will now have the same courtesy to apologize to him. Rodgers would not be asking Murphy if he said it. So true Kirk.

The problem with liars is at some point it becomes so tangled that they eventually slip up. This was one of those cases.

It's remarkable I can link a clip of the audio and make a point about it and have someone ask me to relisten to it. I listened to it several times already before bringing it here.

My thought above was Magic Mark was the leak either directly or indirectly. He's already proven to have no issue with "bullsh*tting" his new HC, so it wouldn't be surprising to learn he lied to Aaron about whether he was the leak or not.

I feel more strongly than ever that Mark did tell someone that he said that to Aaron to make himself look in control.

Packers dysfunction has never been higher and that includes back during the Favre stuff before his trade.

Poor Matt LaFleur. Coming into this nightmare. Such a weak guy. Murphy probably hired him because he was the most likely to let Aaron run over him. McDaniels wouldn't have. LaFleur will be Murphy's puppet. Magic Mark probably told Matt to just let Aaron be Aaron and stay out of his way. A very good bet considering they forked over that money knowing Aaron's a diva. What a disaster.

I saw total weakness and surrender when LaFleur stepped up to the podium. I saw another Justin Trudeau of Canada or Macron from France. Aaron Rodgers in my professional opinion, needed someone of strength that he respects. A Bill Parcells New Yorker type who is street smart and doesn't take shit from anyone. I thought Rex Ryan was the closest to that followed by Josh McDaniels. I know it wouldn't happen because Gutey and Murphy are clearly creampuffs. Since they were creampuffs they hired their creampuff head coach in Matt "the flower" LaFleur. Yeah, I honestly don't see this working out well. I don't like where this is going. I don't go as deep as you do Kirk since you go all the way to Murphy but we agree on the general outcome of all these moves no doubt. I am surprised that more are not in our camp.

I think there are many actually in "our camp" that are doing everything they can to convince themselves that what has been said here isn't going to come to pass. That is why those types hammer so hard back. There's something in them that gnaws at them and if "our camp" just shuts up it'll be easier to keep the fantasy alive. To keep throwing the most likely scenario out there makes it harder to keep going with one that is less likely to those who are hoping against hope things work out.

BTW, I couldn't agree more on the type of HC Aaron needed. He needed a Parcells, Coughlin, Holmgren...someone tough, disciplined, smart and with pedigree. LaFleur may be smart but I know he's not tough and has little to no pedigree. It makes no sense to go on an extensive search and return with a guy NOBODY wanted but Magic Mark.

I don't recall if Murphy hired Korn Ferry again to assist with his search for HC (I need to look into it because I don't recall) but someone should look into that sham search for GM that ended in-house that was intended to hire Russ all along until McCarthy flipped out.

Why should that be looked into? I believe Magic Mark kicked funds to Korn Ferry knowing he was hiring in house because Mark's youngest daughter, Anna, works for Korn Ferry. I don't believe that angle has ever been covered but if Magic Mark threw money at his daughter's firm knowing he was hiring in house he should be out immediately for misallocation of funds and fraud. That's akin to embezzlement under the guise of hiring for services that he actually never used nor intended to for his daughter's firms sake. She's on the rise at Korn Ferry...I'm sure her daddy blowing Packers money on them just because Anna works there helped her cause.

These flat earth trolls are dumber then here fake news and even dumber then mr. fake news himself...…
and that means a lot.
and he dont know, of course, that Coughlin oldest grandson is married to Tim, the boss of Korn Ferry. And here daughter, suprise suprise, is the biggest shareholder of a big hedgefond who owns Kirks "brain". What means nothing else than chapter 11...…………

give me a break flatearthers and get something like a life

And its pretty clear that Rex Ryan is a dumb mans idea of a smart man and a weak mans idea of a stong man. so everything makes perfect sense with the praying Skiper. Who also owns one share (all his retirement savings) of that OTC fond, so he lost his only 3 cents too.

But man, this Rex Ryan guy set the world on fire wherever he was. Lost every meaningfull game with the Jets, but got a tatoo of his QB. Or in Buffalo where he put all his family in the coaching stuff just to get fired after a couple of months. Nobody missed him anywhere. Maybe besides the foot (not football) scene......

BTW, I saw your interaction with Montana. How could you watch the great Niners teams and then talk about "Mike Holmgren who?" That doesn't make much sense to me.

Wolf wanted Parcells first but he had heart issues at the time. He also was looking into Cowher but went with Holmgren.

What was said when Holmgren was hired in Green Bay?? Apparently you don't know and it doesn't make sense to you. Anyone honest would say, "Holmgren WHO." That was the general feeling/thought.

Maybe you were too plugged into the NFL's coaching tree to understand Green Bay's response.

You're so darn connected.

Glad he finally spoke out. This has been such nonsense. He's a competitor and yes cocky and arrogant. His pluses far outweigh the negatives, and besides I'm pretty sure every great QB was considered a dick by someone at some point. I have been a fan since '62, and there have been plenty.

It was a smart move for ARod to speak out. Now half the crap is out of the way, Sadly not all. He was asked about it again today. (and probably tomorrow, and tomorrow, and tomorrow, etc. And his teammates will be asked too. Just from, a mostly hearsay and opinion piece.

I also agree about the nonsense. Remember the media claiming Trump had no chance (false)?? Interpret ARod as you will, but I hope you don't let our irresponsible media to sway you. They have agendas.

They tried to elect Hillary. (sorry for the political analogy)

I don't understand dual/multiple ID's but what does that have to do with credibility? If you know Dash has a burner account that is Skip it's not really a burner account anymore. You know Skip/Dash goes by two ID's for some reason. I'd like to know why?

Skip. Dash. Tell me why you use multiple ID's? Do you have any others besides the two?

IB...you are light years more credible because it is ASSUMED you have one ID? How would any of us know you only use the one? You may have 6. I've been said to be Dash/Skip which isn't true, but it is funny.

I'd like to see what debating skills you actually possess. Let's get it on.

J Kirk,

I don't "know" about multiple aliases, unless admitted/exposed as you say. Plagiarism has been recognized throughout history without being actually, absolutely proven, even in court. But some very strong evidence here for multiple aliases.

And it really make no sense, because the similar posts contain so little fact, that they can't reinforce themselves. Hearsay repeated doesn't reinforce hearsay. Baseless opinion doesn't reinforce baseless opinion. Out of context does not reinforce out of context.

You should have already recognized I have already been correcting/refuting your ambiguity, hearsay, slanted opinions, out of context information, etc. And facts are surely not "I said." Those kind of posts are not debatable. Debate is based on facts. Your posts are mostly propaganda and Alinsky teaching.

I will discuss/debate facts. You got any? And use all of your aliases for support, I won't mind

IF SO, what do you want to debate?

I must've missed it.

MLF. Why will he be successful other than you trust the org? I detailed why trusting this org is pretty foolish.

It's my contention that there is no reason to be optimistic about LaFleur outside of the idea Magic Mark told him to just stay out of Aaron's way and let him run the team.

J Kirk,

What a start to your debate challenge.

You start out ... "I must have missed it." OK, No foul, and i accept your apology.

Then your 1st debate point is a question?? ...."MLF. Why will he be successful other than you trust the org?" Then you come in with an "I SAID"

***You said you wanted to debate, but start with a question and then an "I SAID?" You've got to be kidding me and wasting this sites time. That is nowhere near a debate.

**** And you continue with "It's my contention......" which is just your opinion.

So you want me to debate your QUESTION and your OPINION??? Very disappointed in you Kirk.

That is an absolutely ridiculous start. I was hoping for some actual honest dialogue, back and forth you know.

Want to try again? Let's go!

I think this is the 6th or 7th time I've posed this not necessarily directed at you but I have asked you a couple of times and here's another...

Why are you optimistic on MLF? You told me you "trust the org"...which is a very weak and ridiculous line of reasoning. I already went over this but...

How do you trust Mark Murphy? He left a guy who should've had his keys taken away and put in a care facility run this franchise, He only acted because Ted was caught on camera looking unwell. Magic Mark proceeds to lie to everyone by saying Ted asked to step down so he could go scout?????? A person in Ted's condition shouldn't be leaving his house much less traversing the country scouting players.

This same Magic Mark gives McCarthy a one-year extension? Why? To avoid the appearance of lame duck status? It limited the amount of money they were willing to pay the next guy by having to pay MM not to coach for a year. Pure idiocy. The Magic Mark version of the Packers were the subject of the Dunne piece and 6-9-1. Worse than Cleveland who won ZERO games the previous season.

Mariota threw what was it? 11 TD passes in 2018? He threw for 2500 yards? Titans offense boring and ineffective. 25th in yards and 27th in points? Oh, but he shook McVay's hand and talked to him?

Sean Payton was laughing about these offensive hires saying he couldn't wait to play these teams who'd made coaching mistakes.

I watched MLF in his opening presser. Oh my... What a depressing guy he was. Total letdown. NO PRESENCE. ZIP. Very weak looking and sounding. Said not a single interesting thing or anything to inspire the fan base...even guys like you. THAT'S the guy who will coach Rodgers hard? LOL. Rodgers tells Wilde that it was "good" MLF changed his meeting seat assignment after Rodgers being in the same spot for 14 years. Aaron feels so sorry for this guy he has to pretend that he thought it was "good" that he did that. NO FREAKING CHANCE Rodgers liked that. None. Guaranteed he thought of it like he did of MM's wet ball practice drill. Imagine a new boss takes over at your company and tells you you can't park in the same spot you parked in for 14 years. Yeah, you're going to love that take charge attitude? LOL. You're going to be wondering if the guy is on drugs and why he's changing your spot after 14 years. Change for sake of change has to make Rodgers question.

The Titans were shocked he got hired. Didn't think he was ready to be a HC, but Magic Mark did. Titans might know a little more having him in their building for a season but Magic Mark was sold at dinner because he was tired of traveling around and wanted the search over. Magic Mark saw a guy he could dominate so he hired him just like he did with Brian. He knew he could dominate Brian. That's why he took hire and fire power away after saying the new GM would have it...yeah, when he was making Russ the guy.

Tell me why you're optimistic for MLF...outside of blind optimism I can't see why ANYONE would think that much less Aaron Rodgers.
