His first game as a pro was better than the last 103 Packer lineman.

Good things happen to big strong hard-working nasty defensive linemen.

A 2-year non-guaranteed contract seems short for a draft and develop team. Why wasn't it 3 years?

There is no commitment. He signed a non-guaranteed contract. He can be cut tomorrow. I am assuming that he signed for the league rookie minimum of $420,000. So why is Robinson's contract for 2 years and Rolle's is for 3 years? Almost all of the UDFA contracts are for 3 years. There is probably a reason for it, but I doubt the reason is GB not wanting to commit more than is necessary, since GB did not commit anything. If he actually develops into something, I would rather have him under contract for 3 years rather than 2, so GB does not have to pay him as a FA a year earlier. Since it is not guaranteed, the extra year doesn't cost GB anything. Maybe Robinson did not want to commit to the 3rd year?
