Thanks to the boys for a fun and successful season. GB has a lot of talent to build on next year. Its a great start to ML administration. Unfortunately, GB not quite there yet. Winning ugly is not a good playoff strategy. Needing a last second FG to beat a poor Lions club is evidence that GB will not be able to beat the NFC elite such as the saints, 49ers, or Seattle. GB hosts the saints in 2 weeks and will be the underdog. Suggestions for next year; add quality receivers, drop Graham and put Diva-12 on a short lease. ML needs to assert himself as GB leader. AR needs to execute the plays called by the coaches and quit calling selfish audibles for the purpose of
being the hero. Go Packers!

why comment if you are going to be negative lol? you are comparing a year one offense to one team who has had the HC and QB together for ten years, and another year 4 offense who has been built from the draft. If anything it is impressive at worst what ML has done. You think a team is an elite because they put up 40 a game? Its easy to put 40 when you have 10+ years of gelling, or when most of your team is built through the draft lol. The saints , and 49ers have beat up on losing record teams all year but you give the team you route for flack because their wins aren't pretty or up to your standard? Year one my guy remember that. FYI you can most certainly win ugly in the playoffs.

The Saints and 9ers both lost to the Falcons... both can be beat. Best not to fumble on the first drive at the 5 yard line tho.

What a wonderful season we have had, finished better than all the talking heads said was possible. Now it on to the playoffs, I know we have plenty of work to do in the off-season and draft to shore up areas of our team. But folks we are in the playoffs and I don't care what the talking heads say. They were wrong before and they can be wrong again. Yogi Berra put it the best "it ain't over till it's over" if your in the dance you have a chance.

So the Packers would face the Saints or the Queens?

No, it will be the Saints if they win. If not, the winner of the Seahawks/Eagles game.

The NFL doesn't go by set bracket like most tournaments. The top seeded team in a round always plays the lowest seed in the round. If that means the lines get moved in the bracket, they get moved.

The Packers cannot play the #6 Vikings. If they win, the Packers will play the winner of Seattle at Philly. If the Saints win, they come to GB.

Who wants to start the pool trying to guess the game time temperature? I'll go with 12.

LOlL and a night game to boot!

Maybe the Shopko in Green Bay can set up a winter clothing drive for the Saints players.

Sadly Shopko is no more. Shopko Optical emerged from bankruptcy proceedings to live again, but all the stores are empty. Maybe some glasses for Sean so he doesn't have to squint so much from under that silly visor?

Realistic best case scenario: The Seahawks beat the Eagles. The Saints beat the Vikings. The Packers beat the Saints. The Seahawks beat the 49ers. The Seahawks come to Lambeau, and the Packers have an excellent chance to beat them and go to the Super Bowl. (We can only hope!)

Best case scenario, Philly wins, Vikings win. Packers meet Vikings in Championship Game for a 3 game season sweep. Packers win Super Bowl. I win the lottery.

DblBogey, on another Packer fan site I proposed my fantasy playoff scenario using your identical scenario, a Vikings victory over both NO and the 49ers. It was my “fantasy” scenario. And like you I suggested the odds of it happening were slim and none, much like winning a lottery. Still this is why games are played and no one (with a will to live in Minnesota) will be telling the Vikings that they have little to no chance of upsetting the Saints or the 49ers. With Dalvin Cook, provided he can play, the Vikings will have a chance especially if their defense shows up. A lot of fans think a NO victory next week is inevitable. It’s amazing how short memories are in life AND football. Upsets are a constant in almost every playoff season. Which teams will be upset is anyone’s guess, that’s the point. So as a Packers fan I’m cheering for the Vikings the next two weeks! Besides, I’d like MLF to have one more opportunity this season to shake Zimmer’s hand post-game after having the Packers once again dismantle the Vikings before a national audience. Zimmer’s most recent weak-a*% non-shake was the epitome of un-sportsmanlike conduct, deplorable! Go Packers!

Life is never perfect and so is a year in the NFL! I am proud to be a Packer backer and even though in a perfect world we would win all of are games in a less ugly fashion, I am grateful for 13 wins, lots of drama and the Packers being relevant. My inlaws are all Bear fans. How many would like to trade places with them? I will take AR, with all his faults, over the assortment of Bear QB' over the years any day. Happy New Years to you all, and GO Pack!
