 GAME PREDICTIONS Week 12

Green Bay Packers vs. Philadelphia Eagles

Name Record   Pick Prediction
Adam 16-0 Green Bay Packers
Jersey Al 3-7 Green Bay Packers 33-26
The Packers are playing for their season tonight. However, they have to do it in Philly in what will be a raucus Monday Night environment against a team that is only giving up an average of 10 points a game at home. Sounds like a sure loss - so that's why I'm picking the Packers. Hey, with a 3-7 prediction record, I have little to lose here...
Andrew 5-5 Philadelphia Eagles 21-17
It's hard to know what to expect from this team, but after four straight losses a good bet would be "disappointment." With a struggling rookie quarterback, the Eagles should be a good chance for the Packers defense to get going. Unfortunately, far too often it gets going too late. While early in the season the offense seemed disjointed, nowadays it's the defense. I suspect it lets the Packers down again this week.
Cory 6-4 Philadelphia Eagles 34-29
The Packers are 10 games in and the only person to score a rushing touchdown is Aaron Rodgers. This team will keep it close against banged-up Philly, but there aren't enough bullets in the gun to win.
Jason 7-3 Philadelphia Eagles 48-10
The Eagles are barely giving up 10 per game at home and the Packers can't stop anything.  Tough road game against arguably the best defense they've seen all season.  No run game means Phily's pass rush can tee off on Aaron Rodgers, who will probably need to throw over 40 times.  My biggest hope is that they board the plane afterward with enough guys to play next week.
Jayme 4-6 Green Bay Packers 28-21
I'm beginning to lose hope on this season, but if the Packers go down at this point my prediction record is going to go down with them.
Michelle 5-5 Philadelphia Eagles 30-21
The Packers had a three-game stretch of their schedule (Indianapolis, Tennessee, Washington) that they should have been able to sweep and pad their win total by three games. Instead, they lost all three, bringing their ongoing losing streak to four games. Aaron Rodgers seems to believe the Packers can get their season back on track, but it's hard to believe that's going to happen against the Philadelphia Eagles, a talented young team that's had issues of its own but features a solid defense that could give the Packers a headache and a young QB who could light up Green Bay's injured secondary.
Ross 6-4 Philadelphia Eagles 33-27
It's hard to believe Green Bay rights the ship on the road in prime time against a good opponent.  The return of Damarious Randall helps the defense, but not nearly enough.  The offense digs an early hole that they never quite recover from.
Zach 5-5 Green Bay Packers 16-13
Getting harder and harder to pick this team as the weeks go on, but I'm rolling with the Packers on the road this week. Philly at home has been lethal defensively, but Packers win a grinder,
Mr. X 4-6 Green Bay Packers 27-26
Rodgers says they can run the table. I believe it's possible. The defense needs to get their act together from the first series tonight. I give them a puncher's chance.

I've given up trying to predict what this team will do. Just want to see 4 quarters of good, solid football and let the chips fall where they may.

I would be happy with this scenario as well. Injuries and missed opportunities have not been my disappointment with this team. The inability to play consistent ball and a complete game has been the failure of players and coaches. Just give us a hard fought battle for 4 quarters and I'll take the outcome come what may.

Other than desperation, there is no reason to pick GB tonight. But then again, the supposedly had desperation the last 2 weeks, and look what happened.

Hey, maybe our one and only IR exemption makes a play!! What's his name again?? Markington Dorleant?

GTHO. Eagles roll and season over.

Ikr. Season on the line and that's gonna somehow make us not suck? People can say desperation mode or backs against the wall all they want, and I'll say we lost to the Colts and Titans .....we lose big and people can finally do what I've been doing this week watch YouTube videos of our next draft picks....

Whatever happens today, I will be Packers fan. There is obviously a lot of thing up in the air with Packers football operation. But, even so, teams are playing games to win. Sometimes win is unreachable, because of others or because of ourselves...
Look what happened to Seahawks. They were actually shut by Tampa Bay.
I will contain hope that Packers are in position to win this game....

Seattle's achilles heel -- its OL -- was exposed by TB yesterday. If you can't protect your weaknesses, you get beat. This has been the Packers problem for the last 20 games or so.

If the Packer OL can keep the Philly DL off #12's back tonight, open some holes in the run game and put together sustained drives that end in 7s and not 3s, I think they have a shot.

Get an early lead, force Wentz into a couple of turnovers. Monty and Cook lead the way. Pack 27 - 20. Thanks, Since '61

I share your optimism and hope for the best, even though I no longer expect the Packers to sneak into the playoffs this season.

My heart tells me Pack wins 28-27, my head tells me a loss 38-28.

The Pack secondary is vulnerable to a young gun like C. Wentz. If our D can tighten up, we will win. Therein lies the game. Go Pack.

Add in a young opposing QB who's been struggling lately and you have the recipe for them having a record-setting performance.

I'd list the names of past recipients of the Packers largesse in these situations, but I think there's a character limit for comments.

I just want to see how the run game is with christene Michael , but my concern is more about the defense.

if i buy a stock it goes down, if i sell it goes up, so if pick the pack to lose (which is the only rational thing to do), just maybe my unfathomable bad luck will force them to win. Eagles 35-Pack 24

Packers 51- 49... Injuries continue and Packers forfeit against Texans next week. We pick up some college and high school kids to plug injury holes and win out only to fall short of playoffs. MM and TT are considered masterminds again. Both get big fat raises and the Packers have a losing record until 2030.

The only thing I know for certain is this:

If the Packers lose, the mob will be thumping their chests saying "I told you so" and calling for someone to swing.

If the Packers win, the acolytes will be patting themselves on the back saying, "I'm a true fan."

I'm not sure which is more insufferable.

It is pretty sad when Ahmad Carroll would be an upgrade for our secondary. :-(. Ouch.
