Great Pick. I have him at 4.44. 3 cone 6.77.

It's really a shame that none of these young WRs taken in this draft will get the benefit of watching Davante Adams work during training camp.

They’ll have Cobb and Watkins to teach them how to be a pro.

I don't know anything about Watkins work ethic, but I'm happy Cobb is there at least.
It just feels like there was a certain work ethic and ethos that had been passed down in our WR room since Antonio Freeman to Donald Driver and to all of the WRs from the TT era, which also includes the contributions that Edgar Bennet made to our WR culture.
Cobb feels like the last of that tradition, but I felt like Adams embodied it more. It just feels like that tradition is dying if not dead at this point.

A really good. point.
From another perspective, isn’t the point of Cobb on the team to be the mentor? He did that to Adams when he was a rookie.

Another guy who is 24 years old. He started playing college ball in 2016. Yes these guys got 5 years due to covid but he must have graduated at 19 then so he may not be a rocket scientist when it comes to route running. Rodgers will not be happy that three of our new receivers dont have good hands, are poor route runners and didnt play in big time football sec or big ten but small schools and weaker teams. Lots O luck

Yes, they'll have the same problem as Adams, Cooper Kupp, and Randy Moss. I suggest you return to your Viking blog.

Plenty of bodies. Let’s see who can elevate their game and stick.

Toure played well against my Iowa Hawkeyes and I am glad to have him. I also would have been fine with Weaton from Northern Iowa or Austin from Notre Dame. Surprised they were not drafted, would have been great UFDA for us. Toure had a teammate at Nebraska, TE Austin Allen. Also not drafted but he could have made our roster. He was fast enough and 6'8 260. Easily as good as 3 of our guys and a monstrous red zone target. Coach Scott Frost has really really hurt the Nebraska program and not made it easy for his players to get drafted. Good for Iowa but bad for Nebraska. I would be surprised if Allen isn't on an NFL roster next year. I would recommend to the Packers to bring back Jordy Nelson to part time coach our young receivers as to route running to please and help our "DIVA" quarterback Aaron Rodgers make them and the team successful. His attitude toward the new guys will make or break our team next year. Nelson or even Cobb could be so valuable for the new guys.
