Musgrave is a bust, sorry to say. he never could block which makes him a lousy option as a tight end. turns out he can't get open either

With no Reed, Watson, an injured Wicks and a useless Heath, our 2023 2nd round pick has 5 catches for 49 yards on the year.
"Blocking" TE Fitzpatrick has 4 catches and a TD.
Musgrave is about as physical as the Plilsbury Dough Boy and is a huge liability in the run game -- check out his PFF grade on Sunday when he blocked nobody and caught ZERO passes.
He ain't a part of the offense now and will see even fewer targets as Golden, Watson, and Reed return.
Kraft is a stud, so few even notice just how awful Musgrave is.
Admit Musgrave is the latest 2nd round bust (Dillon, Myers), see if you can get a late round draft pick or a live body at CB and move on.

He’s open.
Love missed him a few times.
Do you see the 49ers throw to there second tight end Nope
Rams. Nope
Other teams not much
We won a Super Bowl with two catching with Brett Favre.
Got get them involved early
We don’t win games running 58 plays with the expetion of last week
We need 65-72 plays a game to get more involved and win games easily
Up tempo once in a while ….will get the extra plays
Once again youngest team in the nfl should have folks fresh…

Just wait tell Watson , Reed and Lloyd start playing
Average plays a game. You pick 58-65. Should be more
Call it 62
Jacob’s
Wilson
Brooks
Lloyd
Watson
Reed
Kraft
Doubs
Wicks
Golden
Heath
Musgrave
12 players. That’s average 5 plays each for 60 plays Of course probably won’t have 4 backs a game
But 11x6=66
So that’s that ….numbers. More plays more folks involved…
And someone is open Can’t stare one way. Under center. Play action in the pocket. Roll out throw
More options than a brand new Cadillac….
Just find the open window.
