Packers Calendar: Jared Abbrederis at NFL Alumni Fishing Tournament

The Packers wide receiver will join former players at Stone Harbor Resort in Sturgeon Bay, Wis. on Wedneday.

Current Green Bay Packers players Jared Abbrederis, Jarrett Bush and Aaron Adams will join several former players at the third annual NFL Alumni Fishing Tournament at Stone Harbor Resort in Sturgeon Bay, Wis. on Wednesday.

Among the former Packers players reported to attend include Ahman Green, Jerry Kramer, Frank Winters, Bill Schroeder, Lynn Dickey, Paul Coffman, Gary Knafelc, David Whitehurst, Jim Flanigan, Rob Davis, Gerry Ellis, Dexter McNabb, Kevin Barry, Bill Ferrario, Doug Hart, John Rushing, Chris Francies and Tim Lewis, according to the Door County Daily News.

Every boat is reportedly sold out for the charity event that benefits the 5th Quarter Foundation.

For those that are registered, breakfast and announcements take place at 8:00 a.m. with fishing to follow from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. A lunch and awards ceremony wrap up the event.

Meanwhile, out in Nevada, practice rounds continue at the American Century Championship golf tournament on Wednesday.

While it is not published when participants will arrive and take part in practice rounds, current Packers players Aaron Rodgers and A.J. Hawk will take part in the tournament that starts Friday, as will former Packers players Sterling Sharpe and Jim McMahon.

Gates open at 7:00 a.m. local time at Edgewood Tahoe South golf course in Stateline, Nev. for practice rounds that happen all day. The Harrah's Celebrity-Am Tournament takes place starting at 12:30 p.m. Admission is $15.

Locally, the official youth football camps of the Green Bay Packers continue on Wednesday in Green Bay and Glendale.

Children ages six to 14 are in the midst of a weeklong, five day skills camp that take place from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Green Bay East High School and Nicolet High School respectively.
