I have been a Packer fan since moving to Milwaukee and then going to UW Madison in 1994. I have faithfully followed the team from different locales ever since.

If I see kneeling during the national anthem, fake anthems, BLM slogans, gestures, whatever, I’m done with the Packers and with the NFL. I’m not going to support a corporate-sponsored attempt to overthrow our constitution, our liberty, and our way of life. It would be selfish of me to support those who seek to destroy what’s been built over the centuries just because I enjoy watching football.

That’s all.

You may not care for the means, but the ends are not about overthrowing the constitution- they are about ensuring it is seen to true fruition.

"Justice for All" is what the protestors are seeking.

You are entitled to your opinion of course, and free to disagree and act accordingly. But perhaps take a step back and try to understand the perspective for what it is.

I am not thrilled that this is where we are at. I value peace and order quite a bit in my personal interactions. However, there comes a time. unfortunately, when you feel you've been ignored and brushed aside, that you must speak up and push for change. Squeeky wheel gets the grease.

I just hope our country can put aside all the politics and division and realize it is high time to actually talk, listen, and try to understand each other.. and VALUE all voices at the table, and figure it out.

I do hope the NFL strikes the right balance in this and other upcoming seasons. I never had any issue with kneeling and called for GB to sign Kaepernick, but I do think the NFL might overdo this.

For the life of me, I'll never understand how a player peacefully kneeling during the anthem to protest what he feels is a social injustice, affects your life in any way whatsoever.
It kind of reminds me of people being offended by gay marriage. How does two people who love each other getting married affect anyone else?
But you are certainly within your rights to stop watching football. Seems kind of silly to deprive yourself of something you enjoy over something that doesn't affect you at all.
