Jones led the league in TDs. Jones/Williams made sure there was a dependable guy in the backfield with Rodgers this year. We mostly stayed healthy and didn't turn the ball over much. We may not be able to duplicate the health next year, but this should remain a sure-handed bunch that helps us remain a low-turnover team.

Behind and beyond those two....both who are in their contract seasons.....we have Swervin Ervin, Dexter Williams, and some other guys. Of course, I'd like us to be a better running team and I'd be looking to add a meat hammer to this backfield. 3rd and 1 should be pretty close to automatic if you have a back that moves the pile.

The Bottom Line: The Packers were an average running team in numerous respects. Most of the playoff teams either had more yards, more attempts, or both. We should be looking to improve our running attack.

I wouldn't be opposed to drafting another interior lineman to help the meat hammer. Our short-yardage offense leaves a lot to be desired.

Leatherhead, Round 6 of the 2020 draft might give you your 'meat-hammer'. Antonio Gibson, 6'1", 223, could do a nice job for you. So could another Memphis RB, Patrick Taylor 6'3", 227 (he can catch too).
...........but if a hammer is what you want at ILB instead, Shaq Quarterman (6'1", 241, Miami) is a beast.

not ready to play in a game who's winner goes to the SuperBowl. That is the sign of a pathetic team and a coach who does not know what he is doing.

The run defense was suspect from early on in the season no changes made when some players were available, receivers were not performing up to needs of the team , no players were brought in, why?
