The reason TE FA additions haven't worked for the Packers is we sign players at the end of their careers. I wanted the Packers to sign Ebron over Graham. This year I'd love to see the Packers sign Maxx Williams. Get a player who has acclimated to NFl speed but hasn't broken out.

Sign Preston Smith. 1 part of the edge/lb solved. And Dallas will gamble on Simmons.

I'm on board with Preston Smith. Spotrac figures him at about $10 million/year. I think Smith/Fackrell/Perry gives us a pretty good three man rotation, and I'd sign Gilbert for a vet minimum and spend a Top 100 pick on our 5th OLB.

Would love to see Preston Smith, but suspect we'll see BG shopping in the Fowler-Ray-Wake-Lynch bargain bin and drafting a pass-rusher early. I don't think Gilbert is even a replacement level player.
