Nagler Byke
Cheeshead TV's co-founder is coming home.
By PackerAaron
After a few years spent working on the Packers beat for Gannett, I am back here at Cheesehead TV, the site I started with Corey Behnke back in 2007.
What will I be doing? Mostly, I’ll be spearheading our efforts to ramp up our video content, (by the way, be sure to subscribe to our about-to-be-busy YouTube channel and make sure you’ve Liked our Facebook page) and bringing back the regular posts you came to expect when I was last here.
Most importantly, I’ll be co-hosting Packer Transplants each week with Corey Behnke.
For those of you who have come to enjoy Cheesehead TV for all the great content and insightful analysis that Al and the team have built up over the last few years, don’t worry, that isn’t going anywhere. I’m simply coming back to help build Cheesehead TV into the content powerhouse it was destined to be.
I’ve been asked a lot about leaving Gannett. Suffice to say leaving was 100% my decision. I absolutely loved the experience and met and worked with some incredible people. I won’t say too much else, as I’ll undoubtedly expand on the subject on Transplants soon. I’ll also get into why I wanted to come back here, the site I started with a school friend over a decade ago.
I’m looking forward to connecting with you all and getting into it in the comments section about the rookie wide receivers, the rise of Reggie Gilbert or Mike McCarthy’s penchant for calling timeouts on defense just before halftime.
It’s good to be home.

This is good news, Aaron. You've grown on me over the years, and I was a bit worried you'd take your skill set in a different direction.
Welcome back!

Saw on your last video that you were leaving Gannett. Great that you're back on CHTV! What a nice anniversary present for me and Mrs. "Spock"; It's 41 years today and almost seems that long since you were last here, lol. Welcome back.

Happy Anniversary and many, many more. Thanks, Since '61

Thanks '61, It didn't quite go as expected (fortunately we'd gone out to dinner/celebrated Saturday night) as my back went out early (nothing to do with kinky ceiling fans or anything, lol). Luckily I'd made up our "real" anniversary dinner components the day before so I was able to make my wife's favorite dinner of homemade pasta and Italian sausage w/sauce even while somewhat limited. Hard to believe it was 1977 when we tied the knot. I was making $8,500 a year as a teacher (paid by 12 payments over 12 months) and bought a new car off the showroom floor a week before we got married for $3,100 (it was a Datsun B210 that averaged 56 miles to the gallon on the freeway for me!) I'm feeling better today so life is good! :)

Aaron- you once called me out on here a few years ago for being negative after a packers loss.
You were spot on. I've since adjusted what I deem important in life. Wanted to say thanks, and welcome back. Always dig what you got to say

1. Glad you'll be around.
2. If you are doing co-hosted chats, please make Behnke cut his hair. Can't take him seriously looking like a tambourine player for Jefferson Starship.
3. The acknowledgement of the idiots that insist on invoking Raji into every chat whittles away at any sense of professionalism you have earned.

We all come here to have a little bit of fun, and keep sharp on the best team in football! Take Behnke seriously based on the legitimacy of his takes, not the length of the hair. He's talking football, not selling insurance.

The one appearance I caught him with Aaron, he was a complete mushroom on the set. There wasn't a legitimate "take" to be had. But we sure got a lot of hair.

Does this mean Nagler doesn't have to pretend he has no allegiance (i.e. he's not a fan, just an unbiased reporter) of your Green Bay Packers?

I guess I never realized I've been around here since CHTV's inception. I found CHTV while I was temporarily living in CO taking care of my ailing mother in early 2007. It was a little bit of home and helped me find some solace at the end of the day in a difficult time for me. I guess I just assumed CHTV had been around for awhile before I got here.
