Mark Murphy Cites Fewer Practices As Rationale for No Family Night Scrimmage

In announcing the annual training camp Family Night on local television on Thursday, Green Bay Packers president Mark Murphy defended the decision to not scrimmage during the event, citing the fewer practices mandated by the NFL as part of the league's last Collective Bargaining Agreement.

Asked about a potential contract extension for wide receiver, Murphy also said, "We're working on it."
