Also happy for Jordy. Better to retire a year too early than a year too late.

Awesome for him. He’s a rare man these days. Old school. A little Bart Starr in him. Does the right thing for his family and fans. God bless you Jordy! Enjoy your time. You earned it!

Agree ,class act and one of' my favorite Packers. Always regretted not buying his blue throwback jersey before they were all gone. The cracked rib deprived him of that final great playoff run,but so many great plays, and acrobatic catches.

What a great player.

Jordy was/is nothing but class. And the Pack organization joins in with him.

We are so lucky.

Should be in the NFL HOF not just the Packers HOF for his professionalism and character , I don’t know if he has the stats but he deserves it. True gentleman and above all a true Packer.

He retires as a Packer with a great career and his health. One of the Packers finest and destined for the Packers Hall of Fame. Good for him.

Does anyone else have a feeling that Jordy could be an insurance policy if we have a rash of injuries at WR? (Like James Jones was a few years back)

I hope we have good luck regarding health this year, .....but, stay in shape Jordy, just in case

GBPDAN1,

Not that he would be bad, but we would be in bad shape if all our young receivers could not produce.

Love ya Jordy, glad to have you retire as a Packer. But I hop our young legs can hold their own.

I've thought the same thing this past winter... What if Adams went down early like Nelson did?

I think it's a fair question and if McCarthy was still HC and TT GM the chances would probably be pretty high. With a new offense, different GM I think it's pretty doubtful but not an impossible thought. After all Nelson didn't have a terrible season last year IIRC. At the end of the day THIS GM seems like he'd go look for someone younger someone a little more familiar with the MLF offense IF he did anything at all.

Jody Nelson... To one of my all time favorite Packers WR's. Good luck in retirement, I'm glad you'll be retiring as a GBP!

One of my favorite Packers of all time. Great player on the field. Great man off. He's going to get a thunderous applause some day not too long from now in Lambeau.
