Another one we all should have seen coming. We won't notice a thing if Randall and Rollins continue to show up and show out. I just hope the 3 (Shields,Randall and Rollins) stay healthy.

I dont think we will miss Hayward at all. Recent injuries and losing a step. No picks and hasnt proven he can play on the outside. Also heard that other teams/scouts feel that he avoids contact(tackling). Lets give Gunther a shot.

I have seen some models for the comp picks where the value of the contracts and the playing time affectss the outcome. Let's hope Heyward stays healthy.

No surprise here. CB is arguably the deepest position on the roster. Hayward was good in the slot, but that was it. His interceptions dropped off sharply after his rookie year. I wish him well.

I always felt like Hayward was thinking too much after his rookie year. Great football instincts, but he abandoned them to think.

Agreed. His hamstring issues, foot surgery, tackling ability and willingness to help in run support were all factors leading to his exit.

Shields
Randall
Rollins
Gunter
Robertson Daniel
Hyde

Probably the best young corner group in football. I'm guessing Packers pick up another high ceiling developmental guy in the draft.
Hayward was good, but this is definitely not the end of the world.

Probably add in a draft pick too. Thompson likes to draft a CB each year. Going back through the draft he has taken a CB in 9 of 11 drafts.
Also add in an UDFA that could possibly make the roster. It seems almost every year that there is an UDFA CB that deserves a spot on the 53.

This guy fooled me a little bit. I'm not really bummed that he's gone, I just had higher expectations (and it isn't only because he scored 6 INTs in his rookie season). I just thought he would be better than he turned out to be.
He wasn't a BAD pick. But whether because of injuries or just because of my misjudgment, we never got from him as much as I thought we should have gotten.

They're saying three years, just over 15 million, 6.8 million guaranteed.

Pretty cheap for a guy that was one of the better Slot CB in the NFL.
