Letting Bulaga go, good call. Queen To Light- 6'1 217. Murray will Fall. He's not a 3 down guy. Kicking Turner out. No - I like him at G. QB More than Likely. Rb- Rd 1 Swift is the BPA

Moving Turner out to RT is a huge downgrade from Balaga. Turner was a below average tackle with Denver and just an ok guard. And now he's our overpaid OL weak link , but hes better than last years guard rotation.

Turner is not the best guy for pass pro, that's for sure. Draft a guard by round four..

Well, Humphries just re-signed: $15 million x 3 years, $29 million guaranteed. Now, he’s younger than Bulaga, and he’s a LT, but Bulaga is a better player. I think we’re looking at $12 million (minimum) x 3 years, $24 million guaranteed.

LT vs. RT
26 years-old vs. 31
offset (how much?) by
Bulaga is better than Humphries

Guessing about $3M per year. No way does Bulaga get 67% guarenteed. He can hope for 40%, more if it is 2 years.

My biggest concern is if one of the good teams that also have cap space come calling. That would include the Colts, Bills, Texans, or Seahawks.

If Bulaga gets too expensive, they could go after Littleton and/or Hooper and try to draft a RT in 1st round. Man, should have picked Dillard last year.

I think that we may have to go cheaper. Valdeer might want to resign and if he does then we have cap room for Clark. If not then we might be stuck and have to sign BB.

With the hard push by the NFL on the passing game, RT is as equally important now as LT. For the Packers fans it's important to remember that Bulaga was slated to be the teams starting LT before his injury on family night. (One of the strangest injuries I've seen happen.) Right now, the Packers have no replacement for him before the draft, and the FA market is looking to be pricing up. There are serious risks in signing him, but even more in not signing him. Gute has made clear he wants to resign Bulaga. The only question is how much, and for how long. Either with, or without him, he or his replacement is going to cost the Packers far more in their Cap than they bargain for...

Why wasn't Burks and Keke not on the field more? What reasons have the Packers/Pettine given you/press?
If you don't know why according to them - what is your theory? Thanks... I still don't know what Burks strengths and weaknesses are - Coverage - Run? What was he drafted to do? I know he had it rough with injuries.

Practice? Practice? you talking about Practice? lol..

Could be cliche but usually you need to outperform your competition in practice to get on the field. So practice is where those decisions are made.

All that said - Why isn't burks and Keke outperforming these guys in practice? Is it scheme maybe? missing assignments will get you benched fast no matter how good you look?

interesting topic...
