Today was the Packers' fifth padded practice of the 2017 season - here's what happened:
McCarthy on CB Herb Waters, who was waived injured: "We were all excited about him. I really thought he’d be competing for a spot on our 53"

Letroy Guion emerges from the Hutson Center with The Belt, much to the delight of Mike Daniels.

Officially, Rodgers has the night off and select veterans may see little or no time in team drills.

Lane Taylor buries Guion in one-on-ones.

DT Brian Price, who spent time on 53 last year, had another strong showing in one on ones #Packets

Winston Moss praised Jayrone Elliott's work in the run game. Elliott just blew up Lance Kendricks to disrupt a running play. #Packers

Great CB vs. WR one on ones. Randall with his first INT on deep ball. Hawkins stoning much bigger Clark at the line. McCaffrey great deep.
— Tom Silverstein (@TomSilverstein) August 5, 2017
Also, Yancey with a great double move and runs wide open deep. Janis excellent skinny post vs Hawkins. King beat bad by Dupre but strips bal

Mild scuffle between WR Montay Crockett and CB Raysean Pringle. Coaches yelling to break it up as Mike Daniels encourages the fight #Packers

Rollins and King start outside in Pass Under Pressure. Randall in the slot.
— Aaron Nagler (@AaronNagler) August 5, 2017
Jordan Tripp almost picks Hill on a pass over the middle. Tripp really coming on last few days.
— Aaron Nagler (@AaronNagler) August 5, 2017
Outstanding catch by Dupre going up over three defenders and landing hard and maintaining control. That's a big time play.
— Aaron Nagler (@AaronNagler) August 5, 2017
Kendricks and Bennett both pull down 10-yd TDs on back to back plays in red zone. Such a massive catch radius with Bennett #PackersCamp

Josh Jones would have absolutely decapitated Callahan on a blindside blitz if not for the red jersey. Offense was in empty. Gotta get it out

Silverstein: "McCarthy: (Biegel) is ready. But we have a process. I don't have a date for you right now."
Cohen: "McCarthy says TE Beau Sandland has a knee injury. Sandland was wearing an immobilizer in the locker room today." [Packer Report: Got hit on the side but the news was better than the team feared."]
Zack Kruse: "Mike McCarthy praised Dean Lowry again. Said "bigger, faster, stronger" again." Mike McCarthy on Michael Clark: "You can see the ability ... but he has a long ways to go."

Broken record alert: Do NOT sleep on Brian Price. This young man is going to get into a ball game sometime this year and make his presence felt. All he needs is opportunity.

I'm not reading good things about Fackrell, Taryn. It's early yet, but man, Elliot had better be good. Because we have 2 injury prone guys and a bag of balls at arguably the 2nd most important position on the team.

Not reading GOOD things or not reading ANY things?
I'm finding very little on him at all in this camp.

Zach Kruse has this today. Sounds like the light isn't really coming on for him yet, despite McCarthy having praised his off-season work.
