I agree with Ken, this will be a much closer game. The Steelers need a victory and will do whatever it takes today to get it. The weather forecast favors the Steelers rainy damp day. If the Pack can get after Big Ben Packers win otherwise this could be an upset.

No doubt they will fight hard, but after watching their games this season IMO they are not your father's Steelers.
Remember their 11-0 start last year? They are 2-6 since then, and they looked awful last week against the Bengals.
I might see the world through green&gold glasses, but this game should not be close.

I see the Steelers pulling out the same game plan that beat the Bills. Sadly, I see GB finally succumbing to losses of key players and drop this one.

Aaron Nagler not included in that interesting video?
It was great seeing the CheeseHead writers, putting a real-time face with a name. I hope this will be a video post that continues throughout the season.
Good Job Aaron ( I am crediting you with this video idea).

It was actually Maggie's idea last year! I figure folks see my ugly mug enough during the week. Good to give our contributors the face time.

If our blocking holds up, and I think it will, we’ll win handily. If we’re sloppy, all bets are off. But we’re rarely sloppy.

We’re a better team and we’re at home . 3-1.

What's the offensive identity of this team? What's the defensive identity of this team? Who are the Special Teams?

Offense and defense are all over the place. I can't tell which way the arrow is pointing for STs yet, either. I don't have definitive answers to any of those questions yet, so I have no idea what any week will bring at this point.

I all can do is hope for a Packers win until further notice.

The offensive identity is that we are careful with the ball and we usually score over 23 points and we almost always win.

Defensively, we hold teams to 24 or less if we don’t have multiple turnovers. We’re 250-0 when we do that.

Protecting the football is an identity, but I can't say that I find point totals to be an indication of identity.

What are the Packers units good at? What's their bread and butter play when they need points or need a stop? What are their strengths and weaknesses?

If we don't know those things, we can't reasonably predict outcomes of games. Saying "If the defense holds the opponent to 24 or less while not having multiple turnovers, we're probably going to win the game" isn't useful for forecasting the outcome of this contest.

What I've seen from this team is inconsistency- from ability to stop the run, cover WRs, show any talent at ILB or generating Pressure. Sometimes the offense comes out in big formations that look like the MLF offense, and they run misdirection and outside zone rushes and look for occasional PA shots downfield. Other times they suddenly run a series or two looking like an old McCarthy offense, single back or empty backfield, spread out, looking like deep ISO routes across the board- and then right back to big formations. We've got entire games of the QB holding the ball to long and not handing off the rock enough. We've got entire games of dropping back and getting rid of the ball without hesitation. Sometimes the OL looks like they're road grading. Other times, it looks like they are trying to push back a cinder block wall.

I have no idea who this team really is. And if we don't know who they are, it's pointless to try to predict how they'll fare against any given opponent.

Earlier in the week I was certain I had this game set to record on CBS. Today I see they are now showing the Ravens/Broncos game instead. When did that happen? Usually, here in Tucson I only have to worry about the Fox broadcasts (today the Cardinals -who no one I know follows- is on at the same time). Did this game switch to Fox sometime? The "official" schedule I printed had this as a CBS game. To make matters worse my Sirius antenna connection is acting up and I don't know if I'll even be able to listen to the game. I may end up trying to use my laptop (which usually takes hours to update), which I never use (hate, hate, hate Windows 10) and listen on WTMJ. Anyways, I agree with the commenter who said this isn't your father's (or mine, I'm that old, lol) Steelers and expect the Packers to win at home with the crowd firing up the home team. GPG!

Apology for this squeeze in comment on last week. Wasn't the 9er first play on the last drive a backward pass? They ruled it incomplete and I surmise the lack of any timeout left prevented the field ruling of incomplete from getting a challenge. That play lost 10 yards IMO.
