Aaron, you did a fantastic job representing CHTV and Packer Nation in all of this, especially in explaining fair compensation, and the lay of the land as only Packer fans know it.

I FREAKING LOVE what you said on the Packers' leverage. And, your take on Jordan Love.

Well done!!! I cannot give you enough props on how you represented!!!

Hot damn, man! You killed it.

Apparently the analyst are saying the jets are only offering a 4th rounder plus picking up salary. That's their deal. They also do not confirm the pack are asking for two ones. The packer brass discussed that but no one knows for sure if that was requested.ooks like it's gonna be a long stand off perhaps even after the draft..

The Jets are out of their fucking minds. They’ll wake up when their fan base explodes a month from now if it’s not done, and it’ll only get worse for those idiots the closer that we get to Draft Day 1, April 27th!!!

Just watch ‘em cave, bigtime.

How many times do I see/read the Jets need to rebuild their offensive line, and in particular need #13 for LT? Sounds like they are not flexible on giving up #13.

The Jets just took a swing in FA and lost out on OT, Orlando Brown. When it comes to negotiations two parties who can not resolve differences have to not only compromise, but also get very creative. I harken back to GG's early comments that this could be a massive trade with draft picks & players including Bachtiari. While we don't know what exactly is being negotiated behind closed doors in many ways it seems more and more GG might be right. If both teams cannot agree on straight up draft compensation than negotiations have to spill over into the inclusion of player exchanges, along with draft picks. I am not even going to get into splitting the financial burden between both teams. The longer this drags on I think GG is right. That in order to give up #13 the Packers may have to include not only Rodgers, but Bachtiari so the Jets get their LT.

Oh, I’m not insinuating both players for #13. No way. Sorry for the confusion.

Bakhtiari alone is worth an R1 in 2024 draft, which is more like an R2 value points-wise.

But, I’ve held that both Aaron Rodgers and Bak will be packaged in a deal involving multiple picks.

The Jets are just starting their negotiations as low as they can go. Stupid low. They’re nuts. Bring us a real offer after your Jets fan base goes apeshit for the next month and a half, Woody.

To your last point, Knock, if they want the Packers to take on financial burden outside of normal responsibilities, it will cost NYJ more.

They’ve got much to tighten up. More moving parts than we can know. Only guessing now.

As I more often than not am using my cell phone it can be hard sometimes to convey my intended point. I essentially meant what you shared above, which is Rodgers & Bachtiari will be packaged for the #13, but there will also be other picks/players involved in the exchange. I just do not see how else they are going to come to an agreement otherwise.
