This isn't going to win a Super Bowl.

You never know who will make a key play in a key game. You need talent and depth at all positions.

You sir are correct a mundo. I personally expect our draft to be another POS and finally prove what I think, GUTT is a horses ass who knows one thing: who writes his check and what his charge is: keep it cheap.

It must really hurt deep down inside to be a life-long Vikings fan.

Not doing it gives you gaps you have to try to fill differently and -- for the short term -- leaves you even further away.

Cover your bases, give yourself some flexibility going into the draft to take advantages of opportunities as they present themselves.

I'll bet you said the same kind of thing about Jarret Bush... and, thank you for saying that, because I had to go back and watch the Jarret Bush INT in the Super Bowl highlight again.

Happy Friday.

Didn't he also draw the roughing penalty on ST to pin the Steelers back an extra 15 yards on their final drive? It may not have been as big as the interception, but it made the end of the game a lot easier on our nerves.

Good deal, not a hater on that guy just want to upgrade and use him in dime instead of Nickel. He has value at that price. Like most things sports, guys can be good enough against most but for example, when you play teams with QBs, scheme, and rec that can expose a guy it can get ugly and SF and TB did that to him.

If the Packers want an impact player year 1 draft a high level slot CB before a Boundary CB. Better yet one that can do both. (Samual, Robinson, Tre Brown).

Andy herman made some good points on his podcast about things like this. Early Impact draft picks.

While he conceded that rookie WR have little chance of making any impact on a team like GB, he made a great point on how Gadget rec was a possibility, I have been mocking a gadget guy in every Mock Draft (usually 4th rd or later but often before the Big WR). Even made a good point on an IOL, though I'd still suggest getting an OT. Just makes so much more sense as far as position value, Cap Value (FA IOL vs FA OT costs) and current roster (its loaded with IOL guys but after Bakh very weak at OT. His thought was to use jenkins there, which is a possibility but still a stretch considering the amount of snaps he's taken at LT over his college and Pro Career. (Minimal)

Off tangent but best OL

RT (1st pick - could be after trading back) RG (Turner) C (Patrick) LG (Elton) LT (Bakh) . Have Runyan play RG and Turner LT until Bakh returns. That OT will have more impact than anything else and the odds of finding a day 1 starter after their 1st pick is low, not impossible but not likely.

Now if my guy Yosh is ready to take over at RT than its a whole different story. man, that would be awesome (HUGE)

Enough green and gold kool-aid has been consumed to sing the praises of Jarrett Bush. And we are repeatedly reminded of his one good play. Of course, the 17000 horrible plays have been forgotten. I’m still waiting for someone to trot out the myth that he was a special teams ace, instead of an almost mediocre penalty machine who looked OK because he played on some really really terrible, Slocum-coached teams.

Wow they were sure lucky to keep this guy. Can't imagine how many teams in our division wanted this guy. lol
Like many, he came cheap and had to considering what Rodgers is raking in.

We knew this was going to happen when they tagged him with a RFA tender. Maybe he and P. Smith are better players in odd numbered years. Here's hoping that is the case...

Good. Signing the RFA is the same thing as noting that the deadline to sign an offer sheet was yesterday. After April 23, Tonyan and Sullivan can only play for GB.

It is possible that some other team made an offer to Sullivan that he declined. Ditto for Tonyan. I don't know whether that happened or not. Doesn't matter, in most ways. They are both Packers, and in contract years.
