Allen Lazard signs RFA tender

The Packers veteran wide receiver is officially in the fold.

From the man himself:

Can't say the timing is any big surprise, as the Packers could have reduced the tender down to $935,000 starting on Wednesday. Now, Lazard is under contract for $3.986 million in 2022.

The former undrafted free agent has an incredible opportunity this season to put up significant numbers prior to entering 2023 as an unrestricted free agent.

Rooting for Lazard to do well for himself and the Packers over the next several seasons.

Hey, i like Alan Lazard, do not get me wrong here, but...

I sincerely hope that Watson, Doubs and Toure allow Lazard to walk next off-season.

Don't really see that happening, but ya just never know...

Lazard just didn't want to go to practice.

Methinks he was exercising his intangible leverage...

Look for his "team" to be pestering the GBP to tear up the RFA deal and ink a long term deal ASAP.

Since Lazard was not under contract, until he signed his tender the other day, he did not have to be at practice. I think this is Lazard's last season in GB, and especially so, if he has a great year for us. He wants to get paid and I cannot blame him for that! Thanks, in advance, Allen!
