Allen Lazard no sure thing for season opener

The veteran receiver did not participate in Monday's practice after missing last Wednesday's session as well.

All offseason, Aaron Rodgers has talked up Allen Lazard as "Wide Receiver 1"

It seems there's a possibility that WR1 may not be ready to go when the Packers season kicks off in Minneapolis on Sunday.

After missing last Wednesday's practice with an undisclosed injury, Lazard was the only member of the 53 man roster not participating in Monday's practice, per Rob Demovsky

Lazard was seen running off to the side with trainers, which is a better sign than if he had not been on the practice field at all.

The first injury report of the season will be released on Wednesday, so we should get a bit more clarity on what Lazard is dealing with then.

Prior to practice, Packers head coach Matt LaFleur would only say that the team will monitor his condition as the week goes on.

As will Packers fans.

Might be time to activate Juwan Winfree off the practice squad!

Im fine with Watkins, Cobb, Doubs, Watson, Toure, Amari.

No need for Winfree to get his cleats on.

On the other hand, there is a good chance DBak will be ready week 1. I hope he wasn’t rushed.

Rushed? It's been a year and a half with no production. I don't care how much he' s liked, it's time to play football and contribute, or go find something else to do. Break time over. He got da money, now earn it. His past is just that. It's his future we should be carring about

i liked lizard but let's be honest, when he was open it was due to double c on adams. l thought he looked slow of foot last year. Now that everyone is saying num 1 recr, he will get top scrutiny for sure.
Imo he is tight end type who will catch some passes for you, not a dangerous threat. We'll see.

You know what they say you can wish for a Vikings victory in one hand and crap in the other and see which one fills up first.

You fool no one purple lover.

I really like "LIZARD", but i like him more as a replacement for Big Bob Tonyan, than as a replacement for Adams.
