Update on Bills OT Ed Wang's Injury Expected on Wednesday

Chris Brown of BuffaloBills.com reports that an injury update on Buffalo Bills fifth-round offensive tackle Ed Wang is expected to come on Wednesday, the next day that Bills head coach Chan Gailey will address the media.

Wang injured his lower left leg after colliding with a teammate during a pass play in an 11-on-11 drill on Saturday morning. Wang was carted off the field and helped into the trainer's room.

Mike Florio of ProFootballTalk.com reported that Wang sustained a high ankle sprain, which considering the normal recovery time (4-to-6 weeks) would keep Wang out until training camp.

Wang, who had been working at left tackle with the second-team offensive line, signed a four-year, $1.9885M contract, which included a $198,500 signing bonus, on May 27.
