Jimmy Clausen Pro Day

Notre Dame quarterback Jimmy Clausen worked out for scouts representing half the league on Friday in South Bend, Indiana.

After his workout, Clausen had a three-hour workout with the Seahawks before flying to Buffalo to meet with the Buffalo Bills.

Clausen also has a private workout scheduled with the Redskins on April 15.

St. Louis Rams general manager Billy Devaney thought Clausen looked "outstanding" during his scripted, 45-minute workout.

Clausen's workout was run by his mentor, Montreal Alouettes head coach Marc Trestman, who has also tutored Florida quarterback Tim Tebow this off-season. Trestman was in the Seahawks' headquarters on Wednesday.

Sports Illustrated's Tony Pauline thought Clausen was solid, but not spectacular on Friday.

I still think Clausen ends up with either the Bills or Jaguars, but neither team will trade up to select him.

Today's NFL birthdays: Panthers cornerback Captain Munnerlyn (22), Browns defensive end Kenyon Coleman (31), Broncos offensive Tyler Polumbus (25), Dolphins tight end Kory Sperry (25), and NFL Draft prospect and Alabama cornerback Kareem Jackson (22).
