Bills Sign RB Quinton Ganther

According to NFL player agent David Canter, the Buffalo Bills have signed free agent running back Quinton Ganther.

A seventh-round pick (246th overall) out of the University of Utah by the Tennessee Titans in 2006, the 5-9, 220-pound Ganther has rushed for 262 yards and three touchdowns with 15 receptions for 142 yards during 28 games over the last 4+seasons.

Ganther set career highs in 2009 by rushing for 201 yards and 3 touchdowns, with 9 receptions for 99 yards for the Washington Redskins.

Ganther spent the 2010 off-season and training camp with the Seattle Seahawks, making the 53-man roster and opening the season as the starting fullback. Ganther was released in late September, but was re-signed for Seattle's Week 8 loss to the Oakland Raiders.
