Watkins off IR, but Bakhtiari questionable vs Commanders

The Packers announced a plethora of moves on Saturday afternoon.
The team has activated WR Sammy Watkins off injured reserve and elevated LB La’Darius Hamilton from the practice squad to the active roster for Sunday's game against the Washington Commanders. Watkins (hamstring) was also added to the injury report and is questionable.
The Packers also placed WR Randall Cobb and C/G Jake Hanson on injured reserve.
The more unfortunate news is that David Bakhtiari’s status has been changed to questionable due to his knee and Devonte Wyatt has been added to the injury report and is questionable for tomorrow’s game with an illness.

It is circling the drain. No matter who suits up , the Commanders will be hungrier, more aggressive and hit harder.

It seems as if the knee injury to Bakhtiari might well be career threatening, if not career ending. It's been about two years, and he is apparently still not ready to be on the field full time. This is absolutely not a knock on Bakhtiari. Stuff happens, and before this, he had been a rock on the line. Unfortunately, he is no longer reliable. And his contract for next year leaves the Packers with $23 million in dead cap if he is released. This brings me no joy, just sadness that yet another Packer has had a great career shortened by injury.

Oh, let me guess. Is it too risky to play Yosh at RT now that David is conveniently questionable? Gotta keep him available at LT just in case, right Matt? It’s depressing that nothing could surprise me anymore when it comes Packers line calls.

My fear is that Watkins is the big solution and we see no further ambition or change.

Sometimes its nice to be wrong. I'm sure like many we were all hoping that Bak when he came back would be more like the guy he used to be and not a clone of what Belaga became. Unfortunately Belaga suffered from multiple knee and leg injuries after coming back and was never really himself again. Too bad because he was a dam fine football player. Lets hope Baks issues arent starting to haunt his play.
Funny I thought that he was the reason they werent moving Jenkins to the inside for some crazy idea. Dont know.
