You guys are becoming quite the institution!!! I guess my best compliment is again that you guys are better than many "proffesional" radio/media shows. Very entertaining and well produced show. Brian keeps getting better and better also. Keep up the great work!!! And I love me some CM3 also.... but I am with Aaron about Michael Oher.

Only 13 players since sacks were recorded as a stat in the nfl have had 5 or more in a game:

News:
____________
Packers sign Giordano - Safety formerly with the Colts. Oh and they release Rouse at the same time. Err, how does this help Safety depth.
_________
Packers sign Dane Randolph to the Practice squad. OK! And does that make me feel any better?

Does our new safety mean that we all get free stuffed spinach pizzas?

It turns out that Ocho Cinco sent those Bengal fans the endzone tickets. What a set up,but the defense should have kept him out of the endzone

I'm with Cory regarding CM3. I think he will be the player AJ was supposed to be. He looks lightning fast. He just needs to work on stopping the run. Also, I find it interesting NFL.com's Baldinger, Sharpe, and Theismann pick the Bengals over Pittsburgh this Sunday. Did they not see how awful we played against them, and that they only won by 7??? I also agree with Aaron and Corey about Packer fans hitting the panic button a little too early. The Bengals are a much improved team with their franchise QB back and a good defense. They also know our 3-4 defense better than any other team we play this year besides the Ravens and Steelers. All of the "We shouldn't have gotten rid of Favre" people need to go back and put on their purple #4 jerseys and shut the hell up. On the flip side, there should be much concern about our O-line. With Clifton out I don't see it getting better. The next thing you know our QB gets hit, and is out for the season. We all know how much depth we have there...

Ron La Canne,
I just caught wind of the cutting of rouse/signing of Giordano a few minutes ago, and I couldn't agree with you more..
..
Both of our starting safeties are down with injuries for the time being, and Rouse cut- that leaves only Giordano, Jarret Bush, and Derrick Martin to start. Bush is bush- and while maybe he'll surprise us at S since he won't be called on to play straight-up man coverage in this new scheme, has a track record of F'ing up royally in live game situations on defense. Derrick Martin, while being versed in the 3-4 D in Baltimore, is a converted DB- this offseason was his first exposure to the Safety position, and he's still learning the verbage in our scheme as Dom's language and calls vary from the Raven's scheme..
..Of course, now we have Giordano, a guy who has played exclusively with the Colts thus far in his pro career- in other words, no 3-4 experience.
..
Again, I agree... How is this good for the Packers? Even if the overall consensus is that Rouse isn't worth keeping and there is long term benefit to Giordano over Rouse (Which wouldn't be surprising), it seems as though this move is too risky and damaging right now, today, to make.
..
Shades of Jon Ryan/Derrick Frost.
I am very concerned. As much as I think TT has moved this team in the right direction for the most part, it's moves like this that are starting to make me wonder what the hell he's thinking.

Oppy,

Headline from Packers.com:

"Uncertainty at Safety Position on Sunday"
_____
No shit Sherlock!
http://www.packers.com/news/stories/2009/09/23/1/
_____
TT is causing so much chaos with the team, a complete collapse may occur. This is the 3rd game coming up and we have an ever degrading O line. Safety position is totally disrupted. GB cuts Smith to keep Rouse and two weeks later GB cuts Rouse to get Giordano. The D line fell back into 2008 form in the last game ( I have confidence that will be fixed this week - If not goodbye 2009, MM and TT).

TT can pick WR's very well. - RB's? - CB's OK - LB's Ave. - CB's Ave. - Place Kicker ? Every night I pull up the Depth Chart and hope something has changed to solidify the team. It hasn't changed. Maybe this is all part of a grand plan to surprise evryone and make all of us doubters look stupid? I sure hope so. I'd rather look stupid and have them win rather than say I told you so and have them lose. Go Pack - PLEASE

If the packers have a new coach next year, I think we'll remember "nothing's going to change" as the beginning of the end.
