Top 10 Things Wrong with Aaron Rodgers

If David Letterman were still on TV, this would surely be a "Top-Ten List" topic. Here's my shot at it:

.

10. Insanely jealous of more famous brother Jordan for winning the Bachelorette.

9. Convinced he took TOO MANY practice reps in pre-season.

8. His photographic memory is finally full. Will need to delete or archive some old thoughts.

7. Saw the Brangelina breakup coming and it’s been weighing heavily on his mind.

6. Aliens from the UFO he saw are using him as their lab rat.

5. Lack of game day sex making him too strong for his own good.

4. Missing running his fingers through Josh Sitton's golden locks.

3. Still upset that no one offered to deflate his balls.

2. Vegan diet has sapped his man strength.

1. NOTHING.  He’s fine, the rest of the world is wrong.

I can't believe I got through this with no RE L A X reference.

So there it is.

Jersey Al,

This was good stuff. Just the laugh I needed after all the quarterback drama this week.

Thanks,
Neckfat

Also, no Olivia Munn reference, unless you count No. 3.

I'd say Al is right on with all of them, ESPECIALLY reason #1.

did anyone see what the #3 QB of NE did against a very good D. Slants, hooks, dump offs up and down the field all night long. Oh!, and he threw to two 5'9'' slow white guys.

To be honest, Brissett barely cracked 100 yd passing and was just over 50% completion, so I would argue that he managed that game effectively enough for the defense to win it. Edelman might not be a true burner, but he might be the shiftiest "5'9" slow white guy" you're ever going to see!

The difference between the two teams is coaching. Love him or hate him, nobody game plans better than BB and uses players in ways to maximize what they are good at. He does it on a weekly basis. MM will have a few steller game plans per season, but then some major flops as well.

100% agree...

McCarthy used to be better at it. But last year and this year so far he has really not done enough to use what he has.

Last year they were severely lacking speed at WR. They had 1 guy on their roster that had speed and he couldn't find a way to use him. Which i get that he wasn't ready for full time play, but if it was BB he would have found ways to use him and he would have changed the offense to maximize the talent he did have.

Maybe they should have brought back Philbin to call the plays?

Many cheered when MM said he was not going to call plays anymore. If there was a reason to do that - so he could focus on the bigger picture (like scheming) - then they should have found the right play caller.

All week we've heard 'trust the process'. We used to hear 'players not schemes' from Vic all the time. Frankly, it's BS. You need both to win it all. It's a tough league out there.

Makes the entire NFL look like amateurs... as I always say the patriots are an anomaly and it's not fair to always use them as a comparison point

I agree,I mean he wins with Garoppolo and though Brissett didn't put up great numbers BB made the proper adjustments to the offense to succeed,it amazes me how can pull that off

Option 2 for sure. Football players should be slapped in the face with raw meat and fed it before kickoff, just like Ray Nitschke. In all seriousness though, if Rodgers and Co just started being more consistent it would make me feel a lot more at ease.
