Edge is not in our top 6 needs, period. It is probably a Top need in 2025 along with DT. Edge could be picked late and I like Myles Cole-Texas Tech-RAS 9.92 in the 6th round, maybe 5th if we acquire an extra 5th rounder in a tradeback. It's funny but he is a sleeper choice for me along with his Texas Tech teammate, S-Tyler Owens- 6'2 215lbs runs 4.30.

I have 2 sleepers from Mississippi State also. CB DeCamerion Richardson, 6'2 190lbs 4.34 40 RAS 9.67. And LB-Nathaniel Watson 6'2 240 4.67 40, 137 tackles & 10 sacks in 2023.

I got all 4 in my mock after a tradeback from #25

41. Cooper Beebe-OG Kansas State-Best OG in draft-can play OT

42. Edgerrin Cooper-LB Texas A&M-Best LB

58. Kris Jenkins-DT Michigan-Top 5 DT

59. Max Melton-CB Rutgers-Top 10 CB

88. Kiran Amegadjie-OT Yale-Top 10 OT

91. Bucky Irving-RB Oregon-Top 10 RB

126. Zak Zinter-OG Michigan-Top 5 OG

127. Isaac Guerendo-RB Louisville-RAS 9.98

188. Myles Cole-EDGE Texas TechRAS 9.97

202. DeCamerion Richardson-CB Mississippi State-RAS 9.67

219. Nathaniel Watson-LB Mississippi State

245. Frank Crum-OT Wyoming-RAS 9.83

255. Tyler Owens-S Texas Tech

Well thought out. Can Copper Beebe play center as well? I'd want a first pick that could push for a start at the center as well as the rest of the O-line.

Beepe could be a day one starter at guard but I don’t see him at tackle with only 31 1/2 inch arm length.

In 2020 Cooper Beebe played 463 snaps @ RT and gave up 3 sacks.
In 2021 Beebe played 759 snaps @ LT and gave up 0 sacks.
In 2022 & 2023-1741 snaps @ LG and gave up 1 sack total.
He is the best OG in the draft and is a better OT than Zach Barton.
I would have to believe he could play center and play it very well.
Beebe will be an All-Pro OG, but he could play OT/OC if needed.

The top edge rushers will be for sure off the board by 25. One possible player who could possibly fall to 25 would be Liatu Latu who might be the best overall. But his severe neck injury over two years ago could have him fall to 25 where he would the best available at that position for sure. To his credit he has played great his last two seasons.Of course, pick number 25 for the Packers can not even be considered until after pick 24 has been made. I think the Packers (after signing McKinney) have the luxury of drafting the best player available. After all these years of watching the draft nothing surprises me about the Packer drafts. They may draft someone most of us have never heard of. That is rare but it has been done. That said, I hope Cooper De Jean is there at 25. He can play CB or Safety. One edge who might also be there is Chop Robinson. He will fall because his production was not great at Penn. Remember Van Ness's production was lacking at Iowa but the Pack picked him number one. So...Ya never know.A few days after the draft I am sure we will all be excited about the players taken. Remember Gute and the scouting team have a better perspective than anyone else.

Van Ness was platooned @ Iowa which led to lower stats. Edge is not one of the Top 6 needs for Green Bay in 2024, so let's not shove it ahead of the actual needs.

WD, I am leery of picking Cooper DeJean @ #25, so we can make him change positions, and one that he hasn't played before, Safety. How about we wait until round 2 and draft an actual Safety who has been an All-American @ that position. IOL and LB are the far and away biggest needs we have. No LBs should be drafted in round one this year. Take an IOL or trade back.

If Fautanu or JPJ is available @ #25, those are the only 2 players that GB should select. If not trade back into early second round, gain premium picks and start the 2024 draft by picking Cooper Beebe or one of LBs E Cooper/Junior Colson.

No Edge, S, LB, CB, or DT in the first round.
