Teammate: Former Packers Punter Don Bracken Passes Away

Player Alumni Resources, a group run by former Packers kicker Chris Jacke, announed the passing of Don Bracken. 

 

 

Bracken played for the Packers from 1985 to 1990.

He was a fine football player. Guys from this generation of Packer teams aren't supposed to move on yet.

Wow. Sad day. I remember Don Bracken from the first Green Bay team I ever watched. Right alongside Chris Jacke, Don Majkowski, Sterling Sharpe, Ed Harris and Ed West - among all of the others. I photocopied all of the their Pro Set football cards and blue-tacked them to my wall. 52 is far too young.

I want to personally thank the NFL and the Packers for the tribute for him in the game, it meant the world to his daughters and the rest of the family. If there is any way someone can post that on here, I would love to share it more with those who did not see it. thanks again. We had a really nice service for him in the little town of Thermopolis Wyoming. Don will be missed.
