Report: Scott Tolzien Gets $100,000 Signing Bonus from Packers

Details of the newly-signed contract agreed upon between the Green Bay Packers and quarterback Scott Tolzien emerged on Wednesday.

According to Bob McGinn of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel:

Tolzien received a $100,000 signing bonus, a base salary of $990,000, a workout bonus of $100,000 and a roster bonus of $10,000.

In total, Tolzien's contract calls for $1.2 million for one year.

I'm a UW alum and Badger fan. I watched Tolzien in college and thought he had a barely adequate arm for a college QB, much less a pro arm. Maybe they developed his technique and coached him up to be a good back-up. For a million bucks, I hope so.
