Is this a joke?

Apparently not. Silverstein confirmed it. Trying to get an Andy Reid/Jim Zorn like hire. Browns need all the QB/Offensive help they can get.

Can the 49ers and Seahawks please start losing some coaching/front office talent already?!

Evan, I hear you. I think this is the year SF loses at least one coordinator. Too many open jobs out there.

Seahawks OC Bevell is also a hot name out there.

Loved him as Badgers' QB, but I thought he was nothing special as the Vikings OC and don't see that much more as the Seahawks OC. Roman has to be at or near the top of most lists.

I guess he's getting a lot of credit for Russell Wilson's performance.

If nothing else he gave the best answer to an interview question ever before the Rose Bowl, where he was asked what he learned during his two-year Mormon mission in Ohio: "Everyone in Cleveland has a Rottweiler."

Isn't it funny, how a great QB can change the complexion of any coach.

San Fran's entire 12' draft class is basically gone, no longer on the team. Reid was a contributer from the 13' class, but little outside of that.

I would really like to hear who has the final say in Seattle on personnel. Last I was aware it was a 'mutual' decision between Carroll and Schneider.

They do some good things, but not all roses and sunshine.

I read Carroll has final say over personnel.

And you're right about SF - they killed it when they were picking early all those years, but the last few drafts have been suspect at best.

Outside of Lacy, how are TT draft picks doing the past 3 or 4 years. I give the 9ers credit if a draft pick is not worthy of making the team they cut ties with him. Unlike TT who treasures his chosen picks keeping them on the team for years thinking they will get better with age, when they shouldn't have made the team in the first place.

Wait what?
I thought San Fran was the best team at drafting talent. I know I have heard that somewhere before. Just can't think of who or where I heard that before.

"San Fran’s entire 12? draft class is basically gone, no longer on the team."

It would be interesting to review that for all of the teams.

Seriously?

No wonder the Browns go through head coaches every other year.

I'm not sure why anyone would interview for the Browns hc job. You're walking into a death trap

Unless you were like interested in like quadrupling + your salary. That's why.

nowhere to go but up, and the salary.

That being said, if the Browns can keep a QB healthy they have a chance to be competitive. They probably should've kept Richardson though.

No way. Richardson is a total dud and that trade was a master stroke by the Browns.

I have a soft spot for the Browns. I hope to see them good one of these days.

Seriously we have someone who is wanted by others? This guy didn't exactly teach AR to throw the ball he already knew that.
I bet he is happy to leave.

Let the QB coach leave. He feels he got a raw deal last time he was offered a OC position and the Packers block the team from interviewing him. I think it was Tampa... But he has been linked to the Dolphins OC position, since Mike Sherman (yeah that Mike Sherman) was let go.

The Packers hired an excellent coach to take his place already .. He coaches the RBs for Mike McCarthy. He has excellent offensive experience back when he was with the Bills and Jim Kelly days. I believe current OC Tom Clements was with the Bills during that same time too.

Maybe McAdoo got the job because of Flynn, who bounced around the NFL and got cut by 3 other teams, turned out be not so bad. QB play in GB is pretty good.

This site has gone to the trolls after a loss. Imagine that. Not much worth reading here.

They'll thin out between now and the draft. Unfortunatley they will come tunneling back to this site afterwards.

Derek, wasn't it you that said it was McAdoo that can be seen in the replay screaming for Boykin to run for the end zone in the Bears game? I said then he should have been promoted immediately.
