Yes, they are among those interested. How much? We’ll see RT @VJ_Ostrowski: @RapSheet Any real legs to this Lamarr Houston/Packers rumor?

I think he's a great fit as a 3-4 DE and a clear upgrade for the Packers.

Houston would be my #1 choice if we went after a "high profile" guy. He would more than fill the void left by Cullen Jenkins. Highly versatile for a 300 pounder. Even played some stand up OLB if I'm not mistaken. Won't have eye popping sasck numbers, but plays his butt off and disrupts the pocket. Very strong against the run as well. Would love if this rumor had legs.

What the hell is Reggie doing in Oakland anyway? He's got a ton of money and letting guys like Veldheer and Houston hit the market is nuts. They have enough holes to fill without losing what few solid players they DO have. Strange. But if we can snag Houston, our gain.

As often happens, we forget the player has to want to stay. Considering the overall situation in Oakland right now, that's likely a hard sell all on its own.

Lamar Houston, Arthur Jones, either one would be a huge upgrade.

Pete Dougherty has tweeted that Houston's agent said GB has not called him about Houston.
