Report: Packers Bring Steve Tasker's Son in for Workout

Perhaps it's just coincidence, but two days after the struggles of the Green Bay Packers' special teams came to a head in Sunday's loss to the Buffalo Bills, they brought in for a workout the son of perhaps the league's best special teams player of all time, according to Rob Demovsky of ESPN.com:

Steve Tasker was named to the Pro Bowl seven times as a special teams player.

Green Bay allowed a punt return for a touchdown and a blocked field goal on Sunday, one of six blocks they've allowed on special teams this season.

A graduate of Cornell, the junior Tasker played for the Hamilton Tiger-Cats of the Canadian Football League the past two seasons as a wide receiver, catching 72 passes for 937 and five touchdowns in 2014. He also returned kicks and punts.

Bringing in someone who can catch a ball and run will not help our ST problems IMO. How bout someone who can hold the line so all our kicks aren't blocked. Or someone who can tackle! Our defense can continue to improve and offense get back in rhythm and it could be all for not if ST gives up one big play in a close game.

How about getting some players who can tackle instead?
