Report: James Starks to Make Free Agent Visit with Steelers
From Ty Dunne of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel:
Source says #Packers free agent RB James Starks will visit the Pittsburgh Steelers on Monday.

Starks averaged a career-high 5.5 yards per carry this past season for the Packers. He gained 493 yards and scored three touchdowns in primarily a backup role to Eddie Lacy.
The Packers probably wouldn't mind having him back but likely won't want to pay much with Lacy entrenched as the starter and Johnathan Franklin and DuJuan Harris already under contract behind him in the backfield rotation.

I'd like to see Starks retained by Green Bay. I can't imagine with his injury history teams will throw that much money his way. Starks is the only "Bigger" back the Packers have other than Lacy. I know you can't keep them all, ,but he'd be in the same boat in Pittsburgh as he'd be in Green Bay, being a back-up.

Good running back and a great guy. Hope he gets a decent contract somewhere. Maybe he'll be back in GB.

I've always liked Starks and would like to see him return.
I will be surprised if it happens. Seems like he used to be in McCarthy's dog house a lot.
If you remember during last years draft, they were trying to trade him. I think TT likes him and values him, but I get the feeling that McCarthy would be fine if he doesn't return. (Based on what McCarthy has said publicly in the past.....about Starks).
