Report: Door Remains Open for A.J. Hawk in Green Bay
The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel's Bob McGinn and Ty Dunne mentioned AJ Hawk's future with the Packers in thier Packers Notes from March 4.
A source familiar with the situation said the team left the door open for his possible return after releasing him Feb. 25.
Probably the only scenario for a return by Hawk would be if the Packers weren't satisfied with their depth at inside linebacker in early May after veteran free agency, the draft and college free agency.

A return of Hawk to GB, at any price, would be very discouraging.

AJ circa 2015 can't run, can't stop the run, can't blitz, can't defend the pass, and can't play special teams.
Oh and he's what going to be 32 next season.
I can see no reason why the Pack would want Hawk back playing under any circumstances.

If reports are accurate, the 49ers are asking for a 6th or 7th RD pick for Michael Wilhoite. Not great but an upgrade over Hawk. Much rather give up a late RD pick and upgrade the position than wave the white flag and bring Hawk back.

Raji just may end up in New England if TT doesn't get him signed, Raji might want to see if there's interest. Pats let Willfork go and need a less pricey NT. Considering he went to BC it just might happen.

Anything's possible, but I doubt his BC roots will play much into it. He's been in GB for the last 6 years - I think that would trump his 4 years of college. He's also born and raised in NY, so maybe the Giants?
I'm very confident Raji re-signs. He stayed with the team all season as he rehabbed - that speaks volumes.
EDIT: What's interesting about Raji, is he had an offer from Wisconsin coming out of high school as a 2-star recruit: http://sports.yahoo.com/ncaa/football/recruiting/player-B.J.-Raji-23909

As a coach,!!!!! for communication reasons where he should have been the last few years. On the sideline. Actually not at all. Feels like Bostwick.
