Railbird Central Podcast: Rookie Minicamp Preview

Episode 396

Now that the NFL Draft is in the books, we take the first opportunity on the show to discuss the team's undrafted free agents, focuing on Alabama linebacker Adrian Hubbard. We also have an interview with Temple punter Paul Layton, who is taking part in the Packers rookie minicamp on a tryout basis this weekend.

Enjoy.

Brian, I think we are overrating Hubbard. Watching the tapes he is slow reacting to plays and really hesitates. He probably isn't but he looks lazy,

I'm more curious about Pennel. For a big guy (he was up to 363 lbs.) he doesn't have the big hang belly. He appears to have decent lateral movement and good strength. Has a tendency at times to get into hand fighting instead of penetrating. Hopefully, he's matured since ASU suspended him for negative twitter comments.
