Marshall to the Jets?

A. Marshall, Decker and maybe Harvin...that's a nice WR trio. If only they had a half-way decent QB.

B. Marshall, Suh, maybe AP...love all the talent leaving the NFC North (here's hoping it doesn't also include Cobb and Bulaga).

I was concerned as all hell during the season that we weren't going to be able re-sign Cobb. I was told repeatedly that there was no way GB would let him hit the market:

I hope to god Brian's prediction is correct, there's still time, but from what I'm reading Randall has one foot out the door. Looks like "I need a miracle" in order for my Cobb re-signing dreams to come true.

I assume you'll be spending 4th of July weekend in the Windy City, Brian.

I was probably one of those people - I was, and still am, banking on TT's track record of locking up his own players. And I'm also looking at Shields last year as a comparable case study.

I'd be lying if I said I wasn't starting to get nervous, though.

You all do know we locked up 4 receivers this last year?

Your a very good player Randall Cobb, but we have other more pressing needs like NT, ILB, CB, S, TE, & ILB again. Thank you for your services.

You have to remember that all the genius that exists on this blog is just an illusion. --- The reason why RC won't be a Packer after next week is because of Jordy's contract. The Pack won't pay RC more than Jordy. --- It's a pecking order thing. --- However, there are several teams who will. ---- My guess --- RC has already contacted several California realtors.

If it's Bulaga vs. Cobb, I take Bulaga. The Pack don't have another proven pass protector at RT. I like Barclay, but he's not a starter.

This is a receiver-rich draft, once again, which makes Cobb somewhat expendable. Dorial Green-Beckham is definitely not Packer people, but we're talking Calvin Johnson-level potential here. TT might be severely tempted should he still be on the board.

You're probably right. Unfortunately, there goes the WR depth. You still need good WRs even if you have the best QB in the NFL.

Jordy & Adams. ---- Then what? ---- Throw in an injury or two and you have a real problem. --- Not even AR can make up for inexperience & ineptness at the WR position.

They'd have to draft a receiver, probably in the first round. Janis and Abbrederis are unknowns. I would love to see Green-Beckham, if there's any indication that he's ready to leave trouble behind.
