Packers WR Jordy Nelson Appears on Cover of Sports Illustrated

Winners of three straight and seven of their last eight games, the Green Bay Packers are gaining attention in the national media, and specifically wide receiver Jordy Nelson.

Among the league leaders in several receiving categories, Nelson is starting to get his due as one of the premiere players at his position.

This week, Nelson appears on the cover of Sports Illustrated:

Just days ahead of the Packers' match-up against the AFC-leading New England Patriots, cue the Sports Illustrated Jinx talk.

Funny how astute football fans knew Jordy was the real deal after his game in the SB after the 2010 season. It's taken almost 4 years for everyone else to notice one of the best in the NFL.
