Packers WR Davante Adams Invited to NFLPA Rookie Premiere

Green Bay Packers wide receiver Davante Adams is the only member of the Green Bay Packers rookie class to be named to the annual NFLPA Rookie Premiere to be held Saturday May 31 in Los Angeles.

Every year, the NFL Players Association hosts the event as an opportunity for sporting card companies to get access to several of the most popular rookie players for photo opportunities, obtain autographs and jerseys that they'll later use in their card sets.

Adams, the Packers' second-round draft choice, is one of 40 rookies invited to the event, which includes mostly other high-round skill position players.

Fandeavor is selling packages for fans to attend the Rookie Premiere, which includes a meet and greet with players, lunch, a personalized custom jersey, other swag and a VIP Tour of LA Memorial Coliseum.

It's because most defensive players "rarely perform well in the hobby".
