Packers Warn Discounted 5K Registration Almost Over

The fourth annual "5K Run at Lambeau Field" will take place on Saturday, Junly 27 at 6:30 p.m.

Race participants can register by mail or online, and they are encouraged to do so before July 14. After the 14th, registration fees will increase five dollars to $30 for adults and $20 for children.

Race participants will receive a t-shirt, bag, bib number and a timing chip and will have the chance to run along side former Packer players: Dexter McNabb, Bill Schroeder and Tony Fisher.

According to Friday's press release, there will 1K Kids Run and movie event.

New this year, Back to Football will include the 1K Kids Run, presented by WPS Health Insurance. Kids 10 years old and younger will have the opportunity to run a Lambeau Lap on Friday, July 26, at 6 p.m. Registration for the Kids Run is $10 and all participants will receive a Packers 1K Run t-shirt, a logoed bag and a participant medal.

Movie Night at Lambeau Field will return this year on Friday, July 26. At 7:30 p.m., following the 1K Kids Run, Disney’s Wreck it Ralph will be shown on the TundraVision. The event is free and open to the public, and concessions will be available throughout the movie.

A portion of the proceeds from the events will benefit various charities around Green Bay including: The American Red Cross, the Volunteer Center of Green Bay, Big Brothers Big Sisters and NEW Community Clinic.
