Packers Trainer Receives Award
The Packers announced that longtime head trainer, Pepper Burruss, has received the Fain-Cain Memorial Award.
The Award is presented annually to league's best trainer. Burress has been head trainer with the Packers for the past 20 years, and spent the 16 years before that with the New York Jets.
Packers Team Physician Dr. Patrick McKenzie, who won the league's top physician award two years ago, presented Burress with the award.

Will this quiet the "fire the training staff" crowd? Probably not.

i've got no problem with the trainer... he deals with guys AFTER they're injured.
my issue's with the strength and conditioning people... sumpin' ain't right there.

Fair point.
It is beyond frustrating but I can't really put the blame on the strength and conditioning staff. 2010 and 2012 were terrible but 2011 was relatively injury-free. I don't know if there is any explanation beyond "shitty luck."

Does anyone have any stats on games missed or starts missed for each team over the last three years?
