Packers to Wear Throwback Uniforms for Eagles Game

The Green Bay Packers appear to have kept such information largely under wraps, choosing not to publicize it outside of brief mention on the Gameday Information section of their website, but the team will wear their throwback uniforms for the upcoming Week 11 game against the Philadelphia Eagles this Sunday at Lambeau Field.

According to Packers.com:

This Sunday against the Philadelphia Eagles, the Packers will bring back the predominantly navy blue jersey, bearing an oversized gold circle on the chest with large navy blue numbers will remind fans, players and all spectators of the unique history and tradition of the Green Bay Packers organization. Due to NFL helmet guidelines, the team will utilize its regular gold helmet without the logo and stripes. A similar helmet arrangement was used by the Packers during NFL “throwback” games in 1994 and 2001.

Didn't we know about this for a while now?

I appreciate that they do the throw backs to honor the history of the team. I just am not a fan of the throw back uniforms.

I honestly would rather see them do an alternative uniform of some sort. Whether it would be to do a color reversal or something like Yellow shirts, Green Pants or something I would rather see that then the throw backs.
Maybe for Veterans day they could do a camouflage type of uniform.

I just would like to see something other then these throwbacks.

Ugly like the fans. Looks like they bought the jerseys from salvation army on discount. Eagles look about the same. They must have had the most unimaginative design team back then.
