According to Cheesehead TV's own Aaron Nagler:

After originally starting his college career at Garden City Community College in Kansas, Jones transferred to Wyoming for his final two seasons of eligibility.

In two years with the Cowboys, Jones made 162 tackles, nine for a loss and four sacks.

Signed as an undrafted free agent by the Arizona Cardinals, Jones played in two preseason games last season, including one against the Packers in which he made one tackle in the 2013 exhibition opener.

The Cardinals released Jones in late August, after which he latched on with the British Columbia Lions of the Canadian Football League.

According to the Lion's website, Jones made three special teams tackles last season.

The signing of Jones fills all 90 spots on the Packers' offseason roster.

If the Packers wanted to sign a free agent like Jermichael Finley or Johnny Jolly or any other player, they'd have to clear room.

Jones is 6-2, 233 lbs. and is 25 years old.

This transaction is the second consecutive in which the Packers have added a linebacker, following the addition of Shaun Lewis in mid-June, perhaps signaling the need for either help at the position or on special teams where a combination of size and speed can be beneficial.

Maybe S.Barrington isn't were I thought and the team higher ups expected him to be in his progression and development. Hmmm... interesting addition nonetheless.

Apparently this guy can run, so that doesn't hurt.

Although, it was very tough match being played between these top teams but still I really appreciate the Vikings how the manage the pressure and took the victory away from opponent team.
